Uh, avatars, right. I don't know, I prefer people's posts before their avatars. I usually think of them as identifying people. |

I also prefer grammar. I dont care what your avatar/pic is just as long as you can type well enough for me to understand what your trying to say because it can be hard to take you seriously

Re: Can your avatar affect your rep?
I basically start reading someone's post before I look at their avitar, and I usually only look at that if the post is blatantly stupid. Either close-minded or grammatically bogus, and the avitar usually confirms my beliefs of that person in some way. The post comes first though...Unless you're in a thread about avitars, in which case I look at everyone's avitar, just cause it's on my mind.
Edit: Have I been spelling avatar wrong this whole time? Just seems like too many A's... Last edited by Wlfwnd91; 02-5-2007 at 07:29 PM.. Reason: Spelling |

Re: Can your avatar affect your rep?
I'd say it does, if you have a picture of something abnormal, or ridiculous, people will most likely consider you immature and whatnot, then again, if you have something that relates to other people (i.e. a band or something that someone else admires) they may think better of you.
