Re: Boo-Fest Tournament!
If you intended for the round to end tonight, you should have said either 11:59 PM November 7, or 12:00 AM November 8.
Saying "through" makes absolutely no sense because there's no end date/time set. It should say something along the lines of: Round 1 will end on November 7th at 11:59 PM EST.

Re: Boo-Fest Tournament!
Well through implies till that day is over, but I see your point. I will state it more directly.
The rounds section farther down the page says the rounds will always last three days, for future reference. I will make the times 11:59 pm to prevent confusion. Edit: Score sheet updated Last edited by TheSaxRunner05; 11-7-2010 at 08:24 PM.. |

Re: Boo-Fest Tournament!
Is till think "until" should be used instead of "through". Only way I could see through being used properly is if you included a start date as well and without a definite end time. Since you aren't including a start date and you DO have a specific end time, until should be used.
Through just seems like too broad of a term (I usually only hear it when being associated with an extended period of time ie, month, year, etc.)

Re: Boo-Fest Tournament!
Averages my friend, averages. I wouldn't dare miss on the trills, but hitting them too early will end up in no life gain + booboobooboobooboo /dies.

Re: Boo-Fest Tournament!
I hope more of the people from the first round who didn't submit still post scores for rounds one and two (with the late penalty on the first submission) just to keep it more competitive and active. The prize pot is significantly larger now as well.
The first song will have the fewest notes out of the all songs for the tournament anyways, so there's plenty of time to make up ground. |

Re: Boo-Fest Tournament!
The time and commitment you put into a tournament is completely up to you. You can mash it once and post a score, or whore it over and over to lower your misses and averages while increasing your boo count. It's entirely up to you!

One day and an hour left and two submissions .... this thread is about as dead as Lindsey Lohan's career.
