Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Ok I think I am going to impose a new rule here, because updating all these scores is really timeconsuming (with my absurd schedule, I simply don't have that time) and it's making it difficult to allocate more time to planning out quality rounds, so:
After this round the rule is as follows: Once a round is over, you can no longer submit for that round. This will make the tournament a bit more intense, I think, and it gives incentive for those who really want to win to get in gear. It also makes my job easier with respect to score updating. This rule will take effect at the start of Round 6, so tighten the first five rounds ASAP! I'll give 5 days for Round 5 to give adequate time for everyone to get stuff in, and then I'm going to be able to speed up and really focus more on making awesome rounds instead of feeling bogged down by all the score updates.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
... I will have to whore like crazy now, but I like the new rule. I hate when people can beat a score 3 rounds later.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
I am also going to make the Round 5 Flash Game Velocity and essentially strip it away from Round 4 (which means I will also have part of Round 5's scores up when I post the round itself). Things get really annoying in my scoresheet when I have to code exceptions, and hey, it's one less game to worry about (but not really because it still sticks with the one-game-per-round motif).
Lastly, with each score update, I'm going to post the excel file as well as the overall-score screenshots. If you want to see individual round scores, refer to the excel sheet.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Works for me, honestly. I don't really care for it, and I don't think anyone else in this round does, either, lol. It also lags for too many people. Also saves me going back through this thread (PM overload at the moment), but almost there.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Well it is your tournament, and like Tass said, do not let us change what you had planned. I am sure Tass would not mind, and no one had a really good score on the game, but whatever.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
I have no objections -- and I don't think anyone else would either, and it makes my life easier for the time being, so hell yes I'm going to throw out Velocity, lol

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
good. thats good.
Darn it time to tighten up scores... But: Since you're never on schedule can we make it 5 days after you upload the scoresheet? Because there may be ppl who pm scores to you, etc, some ffr rounds the scores had to be pmed, we don't know where we have to tighten up until we get the scoresheet. So how about make first 5 rounds due 5 days after you release the scoresheet?

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
I laughed really hard when I saw it. 16,423 more to be exact, and the funny thing is I got a red at 85, but brought it back up to 70.
