To fix that, keep the mouse in the middle, press tab three times, and then press enter three times. I highly doubt Tass will go for a perfect score.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
wtf Jon.... you didn't use ANY of your energy... and you didn't get hit once... AND you strayed outside of the x5 zone for a fraction of a second (i played an entire game without moving the mouse to see what the max score i could get was... and i only got 615,450... meaning the only time i lost was RIGHT at the start, moving my mouse into the x5 zone).
i just don't believe that score dude. also... who sent you the fla? commander uploaded the swf of the game... and even that i don't agree with. we're all playing the game through the browser, you should have to also.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
huh? tab 3 times enter 3 times?
what? :O omfg i can't do fancy pants anymore... got used to #2, and the walljumping here in #1 is just horrendous (but necessary to get good times...) Can't get below 150 seconds... always screw up bc wall jumping when i don't want to walljump... Edit: oops no fla. i meant the swf xD Ok fine i'll try through the browser.... but you should see the lag i get... I would give you a vid of me playing on the browser... but that'd just add to the lag. And thanks commander for the tabbing tip I'll try for perfect xDDD

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
anyhow, tass, you have access to the swf file now too. so that'd be fair too. Not my fault your comp pwns mines... that'd be my parent's fault.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Or we should at least wait for MrRubix to tell us if using a 'swf' file is good. Even though the game even tells us to download it if you experience lag.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Jon: I whored Velocity out many a time and I managed to barely break 600,000 iirc. A score of that magnitude is just unbelievable. There are times where you absolutely have to use the energy shield to clear the way. Not using the shield AND staying in the middle is just crazy. I'm going to need to request a screenrecording or video of some sort to verify that you're capable of such a score. No energy + no stray = holy crap impossible. Camtasia should be sufficient. It doesn't add much lag at all.
Anyways I'm not allowing for swf/fla play or whatever. Please use the embedded-in-browser versions.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Put your browser on high priority and lower the graphics settings

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Alright i'll try browser... but the lag just keeps getting worse... especially when those fast stars shoot out.... I lag for almost a full second and discover I get like 30k damage done to myself...
Lol I just found a cheating way to get full score on .swf version. I can record it because added lag won't effect it. Because that cheating way is possible yes I agree that .swf shouldn't be allowed. Thus, I... and Commander... have to play browser mode.... This is going to suck...

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
exactly.... but commander and I can't load the browser properly.... I have no access to a computer that has less lag than the one i'm on now... and this comp isn't even vista (single core ~1.6 gHz 512MB RAM...)
The best score I've gotten on browser was like high 400ks... there are 2 parts that I ALWAYS lag at... and get hit by the highspeed star (haha pun) that comes out.... because of the bad physics engine can we issue a request for a no-background no-spazzy feature version? Not sure if it'll help much (the lag is mostly in the physics engine) but it will help a bit... and even a bit might help me avoid the star... which almost always launches like 3 of those big things at very high velocities randomly around the screen... lol i'm so used to pressing E then Y now... xD

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
I guess I am ok right now since no one has beat my score, but if they do, I will be in trouble. I did not have the lag this morning.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Alright mental 4 is much clearer now.
MrRubix, I would like to know how you are ranking the games. The scores are different, and what if you got rank 1 on one game but like rank 10 on another? How would you be able to bring it together? What of the rank 10 on the other game was only 1 second behind the rank 1. So yeah it's quite hard to balance the two games out... UNLESS if you give 500 points max each game 1% off for each score less.... but apparently that's not waht you're doing. you're unifying the scores, and I want to ask how do you propose doing it? Edit: ok the lag went away a bit when i closed everything (including firewall)... but still lagged like occasionally. I know I definitely can beat this score (assuming no lag) anyhow, tass guess how I got good at this. Playing LOTS and LOTS of touhou... except thats keyboard, this is mouse, and this has a much larger hit radius and is much worse designed. Edit 2: I expect score updates (your excel) will be up as soon as you have time? I'm not pushing you or anything...
