As you can see on the picture i have two piercing at the left ear. Its nice especially when you enlarge them and you can choose the piercing you prefer, the only problem is that you must continuosly remove them for training

Here is my view on piercings

Men - Ears are fine, eyebrow is acceptable, nothing else.
Girls - I honestly don't care much as long as it doesn't look hideous, such a potbellies with bellybutton rings, or gigantic nose rings, etc...

I was having a conversation about this with one of my female friends...I dont quite remember how it went, but it was something like

Girl: "What's up with ear piercings?"

Me: "Someone probably decided 'hey! let's put metal throw this flap of skin here...'"

I think piercings in general are weird...ears rings and lip/nose studs are alright...but really anything else is pushing it.

It's all cultural really...I guess that's why some piercings seem more barbaric..because you usually see them in pictures of some African tribe.

I don't really care or judge a person by it, but some piercings are just plain weird. Makes you wonder...

I do agree, it is very much a cultural thing...though I wouldn't say barbaric. It's just a different culture. I am sure in some cultures certain percings have special meanings or whatever, but in Western culture they dont. And most white/westerized people can't pull it off. Same goes for those 'tribal tattoos' and 'Chinese character' tattoos. It's like "come on honky, who are you trying to fool? Everyone knows you arent black/asian."
