Actually you could be wrong because thief steal "beneficial effects that players receive" instead of they own effects.
So, a thief couldn't kill a jailer that jail themselves without the strongman's help. Well, it's all situational. I just think my scenario is the more simple one. |

I don't remember exactly what the crackhead scenario would have been that could come up where voting for myself is valuable but I can think of one right now.
