What the hell. How can you play it for 40 hours and not, you know, die?
Also, how can you not get bored after that length of time. Even then, between your 24 hour mark and the 40 hour mark you've only gained 7% or so. That is pretty crappy experience per hour you're getting there. |

I'd say it's better to give an account to someone who'll never play it than give it to someone who will play it a lot. Maybe that's just me though... I can't stand other people playing my characters (well my main in MS at least, and more noticeably, my save files in ANY video game).

I hate gameguard. Either something is blocking gameguard updates or gameguard itself is being retarded, but I can't seem to get past error 340.
Could it have something to do with Avast! Antivirus? I updated my key today and now for some reason MS won't load. |

I could've sworn I posted this before, but:
Kaede isn't where we all went. Our guys were on Sakura, I'm pretty sure. Kaede is where most English players go, which is one reason I don't think I'd ever make a dude there. Japanese people >>>>> American people in MS. PS: Squeek, 3rd job questions aren't in english lolllllllll

DTs are the best exp I think for me right now but I use so many pots there, it is ridiculous. 32 MP cost for strafe now really kills my money in terms of mp pots... I dont get hit often but I still lose about 500k there for 10%. I need a priest and free mp pots >.<

I've been working on a warrior againz! And yes, THIS time I'm gonna raise the stats right. My warrior is gonna be a BW WK (a WK who uses hammers). I'm already at lvl 10. I've got big plans for my warrior.

K but seriously, if you have a character that can train on Jr. Kitties or better (or if you're higher, flyeyes in the cave before pianus) do that and get tons of EQ items and EQ the hell out of your warrior. It'll get the first 25 or so levels done SUPER FAST while still getting exp for your main dude (I hear the flyeyes are good exp, oddly enough o_O).

Selling it or getting a bone helm? I'm not sure which is worth more (the helm or the honey), but I think the honey is. If so, sell honey then buy helm. XD
Edit: Larry, I bet there are people that do it without knowing any better, same way there are probably newbies that NPC throwing stars instead of refilling them (I remember when Jake didn't know you could refill stars, rofl).

I actually have to quit my thief, due to the fact that I finally figured out that I screwed up on it. I had too much dex. I also screwed up on skills. Go figure.
PS: My warrior is gonna get all the funding. 300K + 100K + 30K somethings + 16k somethings = like 450K for my warrior. And I don't even need that much money for the fact that I'm using hammers. |

Thieves have no mob attacks till 3rd job anyway, so the flyeye thing wouldn't work. What level is he, though? You might be able to get lots of horns, and trust me, it's easier to just EQ up to about 25.
But uh, how'd you get your skills messed up? Also, your dex can't be too high, really. Lower dex will make you stronger, but it's not a big deal to get more dex if you want higher level clothes. Plenty of people have higher-dex sins, I'm sure. Speaking of dex, it'll be an issue with your warrior. You'll both love and hate it. =\

If you're gonna make a warrior, go high dex... trust me, you'll love it.
You'll pretty much spend less on DEX stuff, and if you DO get dex stuff, you can train where low-dex warriors of your level could only dream of. (lalala, testing new sig)

You want the LOWEST BASE DEX POSSIBLE you can afford. Low dex warriors, with proper equips, will always be able to train where a normal dex does. You say you'll love high dex? Tell me would it be very fun when you're level 100 with 110 base dex and a warrior with 60 base dex and equal level is greatly outdamaging you and still training on the same thing? Trust me, you want to manage as low dex as possible. Only add dex when it is COMPLETELY necessary. |

Trust Keeto on this one. Especially if you have some funding, low dex is the way to go. Basically, if you're not missing things you're fighting a lot, then don't add to dex. Dex equips are pretty cheap (attack is preferred for gloves and 100% overall dex can be NPC bought), so buying scrolls and making your own dex gear (which you don't even REALLY need until level 30 for the job advancement) is a fairly easy matter. I've wasted money on dex gloves for various warriors (my own, Tank's, Keeto's, maybe some others, I forget) in my time playing and I still have plenty of money.
REALLY GOOD DEX STUFF (multiple 10%s on gloves/overalls) are still quite expensive, just because a passed 10% carries quite a bit of value all on its own. Oh, also, advice: PQ until you get a blue and a green bamboo. The first warrior hat to give +3 str (what the blue bamboo gives) is like, level 90 or something. You may think 1-2 str might not make much of a difference or that you'll look stupid, but trust me, you'll save money on hats and still be stronger. Also, green bamboos are pretty cheap and you can throw 10%s (also very cheap) on them until one or more pass, since 10% helmet def gives 1 accuracy. 3dex and 1acc on a hat will do more than you'd think. XD Also, what you have to realize is that level factors into how much you miss way more than your accuracy does. Try checking an accuracy calculator sometime and seeing how changes in accuracy/level affect your hitrate on higher level things. Even if you went high dex, you'd still miss things higher level than you like crazy.
