Re: Trickster: The game
Lions = Gunners
Foxes or whatever the other sense class is can use guns, too, but apparently in 2nd job they have more throwing/dagger skills than guns, so Lions are supposed to be better for guns. I HAD to be a gunner for my FiddyCent character, cuz anything else just wouldn't make sense. I gotta be able to pop caps in the asses of bitchass mother ****ers, cuz I'm a mother ****in' gangsta, bi-atchhhhhh!!!

Re: Trickster: The game
Yeah this game is really great so far, and I'll probably make a Lion tommorow so I can "pop caps in the asses of bitchass mother ****ers", as EB would put it.

Re: Trickster: The game
I recognize you here because of your avatar/sig. I am terrible with names, though, so your name is only faintly familiar.
And a warning about Sense types: They are very slow in the beginning. They're weak and don't have too much defense, so you 1) won't be able to kill monsters easily for quests and 2) will use lots of pots. Because of that, you'll be super poor. My warrior is making tons more money and is getting levels MUCH faster. Of course, money is the main problem. Really, all I'd need to do is get my warrior going pretty good then transfer money to my gunner and I'd be set. That's why I'm playing him for now. BUT DONT WORRY, I WILL PLAY MY GUNNER SOME, AND ONCE HE HAS MONEY TO DO STUFF I WILL PLAY HIM THE MOST!!

Re: Trickster: The game
The only reason I said it is because I saw the name "LongCat" in Squeek's whisper box.

Re: Trickster: The game
It clearly says they would make another news announcement to say it was up again.
And who the hell cares about the sn LongCat. I've realized that you can put weird characters in your name (I've seen things like * and - in people's names). Somebody try to make a character named ^___^, preferably Charm, cuz that's pretty fitting. EDIT: I'm in now. =O

Re: Trickster: The game
Since your comments about that gunner were so reassuring, I'm going to stick to my Warrior for now. I'm hopping on Trickster now, so I'll see anyone in the chatroom soon.

Re: Trickster: The game
FFR, xqsite.
PS, LongCat wants you to add him to your friends list cuz he's lonely. Edit: Just remembered. Something kinda important I was gonna say last night but forgot. EXP in this game is based on how much damage you do. Regular attacks and Critical attacks are the two most important factors. Skill damage does not increase EXP gain. Skill damage is treated as a regular attack, but using skills a lot will keep your TM up to par with your level. Get it now? Last edited by Squeek; 08-8-2006 at 11:55 AM.. |

Re: Trickster: The game
Another way to keep your TM level up is to kill a bunch of little things. TM exp is based on kills, not hits, so killing lots of little things will get you more TM exp than level exp.

Re: Trickster: The game
I didn't know the part about the TM skills not helping EXP gain.
Wait WTF, what about mages? They can't have built-in magic attacks. |

Re: Trickster: The game
Why the **** did I download the "full version" (instead of just the "launcher") last night for 4 hours if it was still going to take an ungodly amount of time to patch it? I thought I'd sidestep the patching, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I had to waste a ****load of time.
It's patching right now. Percent indicator seems to be broken, or maybe I've just been at 1% for the past hour or so. ps ok just went up to the second bar on the indicator (looks like it's around 3-4%). Not broken. JUST ****ING SLOW AS HELL. They should warn you that the full version is not by any means full.

From what I heard, you might need both.
Not sure, though. I got both. |

Re: Trickster: The game
32, almost 33.
ALMOST TM level 30, so ALMOST got my new skill, which will add to defense by A LOT. +28% defense. That adds like 70 defense. And it's a percentage, meaning it gets better as I get more defense. Sounds like fun =D |

Re: Trickster: The game
So I deleted my Fox (lvl 23). Did a lot of experimenting with stats and skills.
Profit: -15000 galder, 4 hours, and a well understanding of the Sense class. Next I think I'll tinker around with Sheep. Oh, and some screenies. I got some stuff to sell xD |
