Hypothetically, yes. But (to me) it makes more sense for a vanilla townie (compared to anti-town) to act lazily because they don't NEED to take initiative for their team to win.

The anti-town need to take initiative or else they die. The town wants to win too, but it makes sense that individual members of the town might "get bored" or "might skate by with listening to others' reasoning" because the impetus is not really on the individual.
