i suggest learning rumble, malphite, shen, wukong, darius, irelia. any of these champs bring a ton to the table in team fights.

EDIT: at your elo i suggest darius, people are dumb enough to be consistently penta kill dunked by him.

Hey guys. Just started LoL about two days ago, only Level 5.

So far I have very basic builds and have only played with Ahri and Vi.

Can anyone give me some suggestions for some good champs to play with for a beginner?

katarina and shyvana got me from 1080s to 1250

Kat is a big one yes. you can carry out of elo hell with kat alone if good enough.

Most of the 450 IP champs are pretty easy to play.

I keep losing my pvp matches because of my teammates and possibly myself. I don't know what I am doing wrong, but it is really discouraging and annoying. Is this normal?

It's discouraging... it happens to me sometimes... and you start feeling like you're dong everything wrong

I went on a limb and tried out Caitlyn. Pretty sick, I love her, might start building with her for a while until i get higher level and try out another champ.

I've been using Garen a HELL of a lot lately, and found a pretty decent build. Tried out Vi and am very unhappy with her skills early-mid game. End game she's alright, but kind of a "little too late" type of ordeal.

Really want to try out Olaf/Akali/Miss Fortune though since I watched the LoL tournament on live feed, and this guy "Azubu Flame" wrecked havoc with Olaf lulz
