Sharks are everything I expected, if not more.

This does, however, include my expectations of them being really dangerous. Died twice so far. Mostly just because I'm a tad off due to staying up all night. I gained 5% (so 15% without deaths), so it wasn't a total waste.

PS: I looked in FM and there were already shops...

...and the elixers were all already bought out. THIS FCKING GAME AND THE PEOPLE WHO PLAY IT HATE ME =(

I'd honestly say 2,100 to about 3,050~ on Grupins. It can get maybe a hundred higher on Jetis. I gain about 1,000 every 10 levels, so I should be able to 1hk Jetis all the time by level 70, especially if I scoll my stuff an extra level or two's worth.

I'd say the lowest I've seen on a Jeti at level 51 is about 2,300, and the highest over 3,100.

My magic attack is 352, and I'm still level 51. My MP is 3,150.

At 65 I had 402 matk. (65-51)*5 = should be 70 matk difference (if we both had the same stats and equips and such). 402 - 352 = 50 matk difference between us. Either you listed your matk without meditation, or your staff is bad or something. What I'm trying to say: You're not really any stronger, and you won't be any stronger by the time you're 65. And according to my records, I first hit over 3700 to Grupins at 68. Anywho, by the time you can consistently 1hk Grupins or Jetis you will be at Death Teddies, so don't even worry about 1hk'ing them other than as a "yay I can kill it in 1 hit!" sort of thing.

Clearly, you have forgotten about clerics/priests. My exp rate increased drastically by partying while my strength increased just as slowly as ever. And even when I wasn't partying, I got about the same exp rate that I had before at DT solo.

And Chris, the early 70s still suck for clerics, because you can't get holy symbol immediately, and even once you DO get it, it kinda blows until it's a fairly high level, and by then you're almost to the 80s, which are easy as hell.

If the 80's truly are easy, it might get me some motivation to play more. What do you train on in the early 8x's because I have no clue where to go. DTs seem nice, especially since I'll have arrow rain by that time, but what else is good?

That kinda is irrelevent as long as the cleric/priest can get a DK. Even with low level HS, the exp rate is awesome.

Best way would be no noobs there and 2 parties of 5 people each consisting of a good DK that can HB instantly, a good priest with max dispel that can elixir+mg+heal all at once, and 3 hermits who stay away from the bombs (hermits are the best for damage). It's really not that hard. Just what makes it "hard" is unorganize first parties, bad DK and/or priest, hermits that are careless, and noobs that die and stay in.

Here's me, 2 other DKs, and a priest. I still had to use elixirs often as he was slow on it and I couldn't put my trust in that most of the time.






Had to bail on Tee and such to join this party to beat it, as it was close to death and I was really low on elixirs. She was lagging a lot going in and dying. Nori played on mine and died so much, setting me back from 40-50% to 0%.. :/ Think she quit now....

I went to Aqua Dungeon and I must say, Squids are VERY good exp. I hardly get hit and when I do, I take 100-600 damage from the magic attack. Only thing is touch damage is 1.5k but I don't run into them, I snipe. Man Puppet is really useful on that map, as well as jump shooting strafe everywhere. I might train here for a while; high risk of dying on accident but it is very fun.

Yeah, I haven't scrolled much, so my current staff sucks ass. I may get a prescrolled one if it has a good price tag, or scroll it myself. If I scroll everything(staff, cape, robe, earrings), I can get probably around 25 more matk, and 5 levels is pretty sweet in my opinion. I'd have to calculate it, myself, though.

And scrolling is a good idea for me. Because I have the best items equiped for all of my levels until new stuff is released. Some stupid magic defense on earrings won't matter as much. I have level 55 earrings already setup, and I can imagine the difference in magic defense between the level 55 earrings and the highest level earring isn't gonna do much when I get to that high level.

EDIT: Ooh, if I get loads of money, do you think it'd be smart to get 10% earring scrolls and just scroll the earrings that're worth like 10K in the store? This is after I get everything else scrolled to a good point, of course. This will probably also be after I get enough money for misting(which is a lot). I'm good at money conservation(in terms of after buying potions), but spend a lot(in terms of scrolling). So I figure I'll make enough for misting by the level I need to do it.
