Ummm a 9dragons > skylar. Faster exp and training. The extra speed makes it much better. Maybe it's slightly different since you're going pure and using FA, I don't know. But I do know normally, especially at zombies, a 9dragons outperforms a skylar.

And WHY DO YOU TRY TO AVOID USING BOOSTER? That can be added to the running of dumbest things said... -_-


I don't understand some strategies and builds people have. Then they use the excuse that it's not all about leveling. Well no sht, but if you have crappy builds and strategies, you'll spend more time leveling and less on other things.

Yeah, I 1hk block golems every time, but it's a real pest to get back up that tower, or buy scrolls. I just don't like it every time I feel like training, you know? I mean I buy tons of potions and stay there long enough, I just don't like it.

So yeah, I'll try full Grupins.

I'm actually quite tired of your bitching tosh =/ EVERY CLASS GOES THROUGH THAT SAME PHASE. EVERY SINGLE CLASS. Archers go through hell also but once you get passed that point, the game gets a little more ineresting. Even EB has told you that it is fun once you get to 70 but you choose to dwell on the fact that OH NO IT IS SO BORING WHAT WILL I EVER DO? Archers are boring ALL THE WAY UNTIL 3RD JOB. Clerics are boring as hell to train also. At least fire mages actually have an attack and have the ability to train everywhere (not effectively but you can still train everywhere). Clerics can't. If you are complaining about how bored you are, go fool around at WWs or something like I always did in 2nd job on my archer. The game is only as fun as you make it. If you turn maple into one long grind to the end, you will never have fun. Stop complaining. Get used to your f/p mage or play a different game.

Worst face ever (that's @pffffff). Well, the lipstick one might be considered worse by some, but HOT DAMN THAT THING IS UGLY! Also, you'd be much better off getting MP Eater first point and then getting teleport way later. Some people think that's extremely boring, but I like to save money. Also, because of how much teleport costs (60 MP WTFFFF) you will waste a lot of money if you actually use it while you train. When I only had 1 in tele I only used it to rush on my way to boats and things like that.

And Tosh, you have to realize, the monsters aren't boring. It's the repetition that's boring. Most of the time, you move to a new monster and you're like WOW THIS IS SO NEW AND INTERESTING AND FUN! 5 levels later when you're STILL there you hate them and think it's boring, and you wanna move to the next monster. But the next monster will only be fun for a little while and then it'll get old. People who switch characters always think WOW THIS CLASS IS SO MUCH MORE FUN THAN THE CLASS I PLAY AS, but if you actually play the class for a long time you'll find that it's just as boring once you've done it for long enough. I think Jake's bandit is fun, but after a while it gets boring just like my mage does eventually.

The point of it is, pure training for a long time with the same thing on the same monster will always get boring eventually. That's why you should switch characters or games if it gets boring. The reason people quit is because it's boring, but the reason it's boring is because people don't take the time to have fun. Casting mist around HHG and killing stumps (and later, wraiths with B0NK) is terrible exp, but I had fun doing it, and that's why I had MS open for 10 hours yesterday (yeah, I got the 10 hour warning O__O). You just gotta keep the game interesting, and complaining about how boring it is does nothing to help that.

EDIT: wtf happened while I was writing this, I sure hope a mod comes and deletes all that kid's posts =\

If you really are 6x (just assuming from your avatar) you are REALLY weak. I'm not sure about sins but as an archer in 6x, my damage was much higher then that. And it seems like you spent 5 seconds on editing it =/ Good job for your 1st vid???

Basically, it's a level 70 weapon for mages with 90 magic attack and no luck requirement. Black umbrella is level 70 with 85 magic attack, and the staves and wands have a rate of having 85 magic attack for an average level 70 weapon as well.

Someone mentioned in another thread that it's rumored to come out in the next patch.

And apparently all of the maple items in that wave are common, so any class can equip claws and throw stars (they dont even have dex req).

I think someone said they're from the taiwanese version or something.

That is about right with the editing and first vid. I out damage most level 70 archers that I see. You must have VERY good equipment then or everyone sucks in bera. From what I have seen that is better then most sins around my level and they even use steelies. So when I can use my scarb I will be fine.

1.) Thing is, I plan to avoid coolies, or any form of zombie.
2.) I'm gonna have to cut back to a slow weapon speed eventually, so I may as well do it with the skylar. I mean, I won't use it in the 3rd job test.
3.) I avoid using booster at lvl 5X because I try to get the feel of my lvl 6X / 7X weapon speed.
4.) True, I pro'lly will level slower, but I don't mind about it. Getting HB first was already slowing me down plenty.

My equipment is not godly. If you can outdamage most 7x archers, they must have pretty crappy stuff because you hitting 600-1800 on a zombie is not ZOMG PURE OWNAGE. My early 60's I was able to hit 2k with one shot of ds (maybe even in the late 5x's). Seriously though, I honestly doubt you can outdamage most sins your level or even archers your level. Maybe Scania is just different... I don't know.

1. Seems OK. Hectors are a good alternative, among other things.
2. Why? Why not enjoy the fast attack pseed while you can? Getting "used" to the 3rd job weapon speed isn't going to benifit as much as the speed of 9d.
3. Once again, getting the "feel" of what's coming is, no offense, a pretty bad excuse. Take advantage of your skills... You can get used to slower weapon speeds when you actually get the weapons. Being familiar with it won't necessarily help you.
4. This I don't understand. I'd want to find any way to level as fast as I can. Like bandit said, slower leveling speed means more time spent leveling and less on everything else, and if you could level faster using the 9d, why not?
