If it's boring, stop playing. You don't necessarily have to quit, just take a godam break, or play a different game. As eb said, if you don't enjoy what you're doing while playing a game, there's no reason to play it. There's nothing stupid about that statement.

Umm it goes basically cost per attack. Stars generally are most cost/attack. To go from one start to the next (meaning at least 13+ sets), it becomes a steaper curve. Tobis are the most cost efficient.

And yes, throwing subis does mean he's weak. At 30+, no one should be using subis.

Fire mages are not any more boring than other classes. The 40s and 50s are cake. The 60s are boring as hell. Tosh, what you don't seem to realize is that the exp ramps up (A TON) in the 60s while you're still fighting Grupins (and possible Pangs, but they suck hard). Also, you can move to DTs in the 75s, so fire mages stop being boring faster than other classes. Jason was at coolies until 88, if I'm not mistaken, at which point he could do DT parties. Imagine that. Zombies for like 30 levels. Sucks.

Also, listen to Keeto. If the game is really so boring, stop playing it. Even on a daily basis, if I find I'm not having fun and only playing to level (which is never a good excuse to play if you have no other reasons) I stop playing. I rotate between several games. As soon as something gets boring, I abruptly stop and move on. If you keep life interesting, you'll enjoy what you do more, and you'll be more efficient in it. When I DO play MS, I level quickly and get a lot done. People like you who are constantly complaining about how boring it is will get on and dick around and get nothing done, and then just be more upset because they've played for 3 hours and gotten 5%.

But really, Tosh, you have little to no room to talk about this stuff. I've played a fire mage all the way to 91. I've played countless characters to the mid-20s. I've played a 5X banditsin quite a bit. I've gotten my own cleric on jMS to 36 or 37, I forget. I've got my spearwoman to 39. I've played an 8X ice/lightning mage. I've seen much more than you have and done a lot more than you have, despite only playing for a year, whereas you've played since Beta. You act like you know so much about this game and about lots of things, but you've proven time and again that you don't know as much as you think.

Now, what did I do when Keeto complained about his Page being boring? I told him to take some time off. What did I do when my mage got boring? I took a break. What did Tiana do when her mage got boring? She took a break. What is Jay doing now that he's bored with his character? He's taking a break. What do all these people have in common that you don't? We're all in 3rd job, because we took our time and were patient with the game and didn't get bored and delete characters and make 1000 more characters and then do the same with them.

And B0NK obviously wasn't trying to start something. You simply pissed him off cuz you were whiney. I'm glad he said something, because I'm fairly certain he's not the only one you piss off.

MapleStory agreed can get boring at times, which is why I used some money from my cleric to fund a sin. Sins seem generally more fun with their tactics of jump shooting and haste and what not. This doesn't mean my cleric is done though, just that everyone needs to switch things up once in a while. And when maple isn't entertaining, I'll switch over to OPERATION: INNER SPACE.

o.O I still don't understand why you would mix dex and wattack. Not many poeple scroll gloves like that xD so I dunno about price. Maybe around 2-4 mil ish?

I haven't read a lot of that yet, but I'll say that it's not the fact that the levels are difficult, it's the fact that the two monster choices I'm fighting are incredibly boring.

I've fought dumb things like Jr. Pepes and Jr. Grupins just to level up instead sometimes, and god, it seems a hell of a lot faster that way, but in reality, I'm levelling up slow as hell if I'm fighting that stuff. I could spend 10 hours there and barely gain a level if I'm lucky, due to the low EXP they give, and only at level 50. Fighting Jetis all day like I have been and will be for a long time just kills me, and Block Golems are such an ass to get down to. You need to go down the tower, and you need scrolls to get back up in case you don't feel like being bored for a little while.

Oh, and with a Maple Lama Staff, I'm quite literally nearly the same power of a level 61(I'm lvl 51), and if he takes off his equipment, I overpower him.

So, is there ANYTHING else I can train on while forcing myself to level -.-

Grupins might be able to give you comperable exp. I do believe Noah was there in his 6x.

Worst case scenario: it'll be more fun and you'll probably get more money.

Oh and can you 1hk block golems every time? If you can constantly be killing those it'd be faster than jetis easily.
