First off: Do you know the diamond's true colors yet?
I recommend pasting the diamond shape in word or something and then coloring it |

yes, I know the true colors
How do you make a shape in word? Do you mean with lots of periods, 0's... |

You have the shape already -- I've given it to you. It just needs some color, that's all. It's a bunch of 0's after all.

I'm going to be forced to withdraw from this tournament due to insufficient time on my end. Impressive organization you have here though, Rubix. Hope other tournies can take a page out of your book.

For #1, are all of the numbers involved whole numbers?

No not technically.
The answer is a decimal form. |

AAAAAAAAAAAGH this is crazy my head will explode soon. What's screwing me over is that they are running at 25/18 m/s, and I keep forgetting to multiply everything.

lol.... i'm finding this really amusing at how difficult this is proving for people with such obvious hints.

I feel like I've practically spoiled the solutions to be honest.

I'm overthinking things that's all.
I am coming close to the answer now, if I dont have it I may shoot someone. The question isn't that hard really, its just tedious. I screwed it up...I give up. I got 2,3,4, and 6, but the others make no sense to me. Heh I was never really in this to begin with, so w/e. Good luck to everyone who's in it. I'll just give a vid of me solving a rubik's cube, and hope that gets me the credits lol. Last edited by aTzUeLo1191; 10-7-2007 at 05:25 PM.. |

Don't give up, you're so close. What is stopping you on 1? Do you not have the photon speed?
5 is tricky I admit. Half of the times are not really numbers. This means, for instance, 9:04 is not 9:04 but either the 9 or 4 is not a number written as-is |

I've had the photon speed for 2 days now...its just that I can't get all the numbers to add up. They aren't fitting. I'm calculating the numbers, and I have an answer that's way off the mark, and there are too many 6's and 9's that don't come up in leetspeak.
Edit: and for number 5 I'm just missing somethings...all the hints go in 1 ear and out the other. |

For #1 make sure you are converting things correctly. 1 km = 1000 meters, 1 myriameter = 10,000 meters, meters per hour = 60 * meters per minute = 60 * 60 * meters per second

Hey rubix, this doesn't have anything to do with your tourney but could you make a video of you solving an online rubiks cube?

Yeah but I suck horribly at online cubes. I can give it a shot though.
