Re: The World's Greatest Riddle
@Dev
Hmm...I'm trying to visualize that, and it seems to make sense. Like I said, I'll be more certain when I actually get around to building a strip, but I'm fine with ignoring anything that doesn't click until then. |

Re: The World's Greatest Riddle
Yeah...on second thought, I can come up with a crude visual example...
Say you have your line drawn all the way around. Picture the line as a string instead, except remove the Möbius strip from your mind's view. The remaining continuous string is now the representation of the traversal of the strip's entire surface. Since there is only one string, the Möbius strip is one-sided. Now, if you were to try that with a normal strip (e.g. a hollow cylinder), to have covered the entire surface, you would need two strings, one for each side (interior and exterior). After removing the strip, you would have two separate rings, meaning the strip is two-sided. |

Re: The World's Greatest Riddle
Kinda late, but if you're religious you could argue your god(s) cause these things to occur. lol.

Re: The World's Greatest Riddle
I'd really hope that nobody religious is crediting their deity for making pancakes turn brown and people have to urinate.

Re: The World's Greatest Riddle
Ok, new one: What's as big as you, smaller at times, and even bigger than you at other times, but weighs NOTHING?
@ devonin: PM me your answer so it doesn't ruin it for everyone else. You're too good |

Re: The World's Greatest Riddle
Lol, no. Both the plastic and air weigh something, even though not much.
EDIT: I've seen a lot of people view this thread and I'm just tossing this idea out there but post your answer anyway. It's still cool to have a little fun, give us your thoughts so people can work together to figure out the riddles Last edited by rzr; 04-29-2008 at 11:17 PM.. |

Re: The World's Greatest Riddle
Well nah, but (to use Christianity as an example) some religions suggest their deity made and cause(s)(d) everything to happen/exist. So they'd have to agree God makes pancaked brown and urination to occur. :P

Re: The World's Greatest Riddle
I saw god once. He kept trying to tickle me. But then I told him that I didn't have any two's and to go fish already and he stopped tickling me. I'll never understand why he likes to do that...

Re: The World's Greatest Riddle
Hmm... very hard. I'm thinking it might be a trick riddle where the word "you" not the actual "you" is being refered to as well as the word "times"

Re: The World's Greatest Riddle
No, it's all in the riddle with no underlying elements. This one I actually know the answer to, lol. I still want them PMd in case some jerk googles it and ruins it for everyone. Also, I added to the original riddle to take away some of your confusion. HAVE FUN!
