I agree too... in the process of making the most epic syncing job ever he completely neglected to make the patterns go with the music. Rhythmically it's perfect, but the only other good part is the jack placement (which is very good) but since jacks are retarded on FFR the effectiveness is ruined.

Hmmm... Done for today, tangent anyone?
I would have a file or two in here, but i never could finish them. They were good files too, took 5 weeks a piece to get 3/4ths done. Then i got bored with them, redid the steps poorly, and quit. |

1. ggc - shash
2. monstrous turtles - macg 3. twgp - rebirth 4. cosmic orchestra - jimerax 5. rottel da station - shash <ffr essay> my opinion is always tilted to songs that i like as well as the stepping, which is why monstrous turtles is #2 even though it is just some 32nd stream and jumps... the song is the best i've heard on ffr with cosmic orchestra a little behind it and tgwp would be better if it was the SM version. tgwp is always gonna be one of my favorite files because if that **** hadn't come out on ffr, i probably would have quit this community because everything that didn't blow was boring techno/dance/8bit bs. who cares if the steps have barely any correlation to pitch, i really don't give a **** and my fingers don't either. ggc is my favorite file on ffr, i don't even know why. the song and the steps are just awesome. and rottel is a good all around file imo, shash is pretty good at stepping. the reason i like these 5 is because they aren't cookie cutter stepfiles that have been done before multiple times (except monstrous turtles, see above etc). </ffr essay> Last edited by Loot You; 12-20-2007 at 01:53 AM.. |

I personally don't see why everyone likes CO so much but anyways, Prizes will be announced on Christmas day, but the from the looks of it, the current winners are either mods or simply don't use FFR anymore.
I might have to get creative here. Hmm..... |

Pretty sad how i can bump delete repeat for a couple days and no one else has posted here.
2 days left, still time to get that one-guy-who-just-kinda-lurks-here-pondering-the-consequences-of-voting's vote.

Alright!
For those few still watching the thread: I'm about to announce the winners! First place: Szamar Madar - 18 - 5,000 credits Second place: Cosmic Orchestra - 13/TGWP - 13 - 2,500 credits split? Third place: Final Step - 12 - 1,000 credits Fourth Place: BBEvolution - 10/Midnight Dragon - 10 - 500 credits split? Fifth Place: Monstrous Turtles - 7 - Love. Congratulations to the winners for providing the FFR community with quality simfiles. You shall be rewarded modestly. It's all i have and i refuse donations. But hey, be happy with your prize as it is also a great honor.
