We have an entire sticky entitled "HOW TO GET SONGS ONTO STEPMANIA". Try looking through the SM or the Simfile forums.

adding songs to Stepmania is normally really easy, most ffr songs come with a easy to use automatic load up and it does it all for you, i can give you linkage

I think I get how to install it, but when I double click the smzip file, instead of installing, it tells me its not a valid zip archive.

Well, i know how to add the song but when i do add it and try to play it on stepmania, the bpm is slower and the notes seem different....

why is this and how do i fix it?

i know how to make songs but i do not want to have to go and edit it all! Please help!

You should not double post...

I'm not sure what's going on with the sim you downloaded.

Are you saying that it seems slower on SM than it did on Resonance? What sim is it?

well here is the problem....i downloaded it and yes it does seem slower. Plus the notes are different and i know i added it correctly.... im using the file ff7 battle off the top 100 sims list.

and yes i know...no more double posting.
