lucid dreaming is pretty cool. the one that really bugs me is when i am dreaming that i fall asleep and dream. but when i wake up it takes me a while to figure out if i am really dreaming or am i truly awake. or if i their is such a thing as awake to start with.

I see the FFR forums have a spell check feature now. Perhaps you should find something else to post about instead of just commenting on everyones spelling mistakes.
and since you seem to be so fond of correcting spelling perhaps you should make sure you are not giving false information. and just so you know its spelled déjà vu.

you wanted to start pissing around with spelling and you spelled the word wrong, its no cause to be bitter., furthermore if you were "wise to them" so you say, why not spell the word correctly?

well maybe what i say is just very conclusive. yesterday i was lying down on my bed...it was 2 am...i blinked...and the sun was up and it was 9 am. literally i never knew i woke up or went to sleep. until i saw the clock and the sun out my window. and so the topic doesnt die, i'll ask a question... anyone else experience this?

I can fall asleep for thirty seconds. I think a lot of people actually do this, I dunno. Figure it was a good time to bring it up. In the morning when I wake up (6:15 ish) I'm very slow and sluggish. My alarm goes off at the bottom of the minute, so as soon as it hits 6:15 it goes off.
I'll sit up, and it will be 6:16/6:17. My clock is actually pretty accurate, I set it once a week (bad habit). But, in the few seconds it takes me to hit my alarm and sit up, two minutes pass? I think maybe I fall back asleep somewhere in there. And tonite, I was watching "Radio" with mom, and I woke up at the end. Note that I don't *remember* falling asleep, but I sure as hell did. I don't even remember being tired. Maybe there's just something wrong with me. Oh well, Mal

Well i don't think you can force yourself to dream about something. I for one have noticed this, with my experience:
The more i think about something during the day, the less chance i have of dreaming about it during the day. Dreams come from the subconscious, and if something is on your conscious mind all day, what's the point of it being in your subconscious, assuming i spelled those words right. I tend to dream about the things that i may have thought about for a few minutes during the day, rather than the stuff that's really got me thinking. I can't say that's always the case, because if something is really bothering me, yeah, i'll dream about it. But other than that, i won't. And yes, i find that completely weird, that you can usually remember waking up, but no one, or at least no one I'VE ever met, has been able to pinpoint the exact time you fall asleep. I mean that makes sense, because if you're anything like me, you end up laying in bed with your eyes closed for at least 10-30 mins before you actually fall asleep. Either way, it still puzzles me.
