It's sad that you memorized meaningless system specs. The only thing that matters on a console is the games, and the controller. Everything else is irrelevant.

GC is just sad. Seriously. GC is for little children. What games does GameCube have that are so superior to the rest?

GC was created to appeal to the younger kids.
PS2 was created to appeal to "adult" audiences (and those who want "adult" privilages)
X-Box was created to appeal to family and a more general audience.

The New X-box controller is for the wimps that thought the Old big one hurt their hands. They are the ones that don't know how to be a true gamer. I have pwned everyone that has the new controller with my old controller. It is a more efficient design.

Yeah, if you have huge hands, it is impossible to use some of the controllers that have all the little buttons.

It's a fact the PS2 has more games, and more games means more variety

. It's also a fact the x-box has better specs, and I'd rather have games then specs...

But most of the games are in the teen and mature ratings.

There are more games, but if you have protective parents, you lose a lot of your selection.
If you don't, it depends on what kind of games you want, but X-box is the better CONSOLE.

I no longer have anything against X-box. X-boxes are awesome when it comes to modding. You can actually make it so you can rip games onto the hard-drive, which is a totally plus. But PS2 has more games that appeal to me. So I feel that PS2 is better for that reason. In terms of power and whatnot, X-box owns.

Nintendo, however, has nothing that I like. Besides having better graphics, and maybe a select few games that I would like to play. This is why I want to Moogy to explain as to why Nintendo GameCube is so superior.

Cen, just because the Xbox has a faster processor and a better grafix chip doesn't make it better. If you're gonna go into specs then this should be about computers, because it doesn't matter for consoles, unless you're buying games for the sheer pleasure of watching fast load times (and on many games the PS2 is faster anyway).

Yes, what games are good is always an opinion, but there are games that are selected by common consensus to be deesignated 'good'. There's always the odd player out there who thinks Halo, or GTA, or Socom sucks, but they're still insanely popular, well made and bestselling games. And Xbox's only real claim in that area is Halo, while PS2 has a much larger selection and variety. So even if you don't like the GTAs and Socoms, there's plenty of other choices to appeal to you.

And PS2 is not much more adult oriented than Xbox. The reason they have so many more Teen and Mature games is because they have many more games period (I think over 900 to date).

Nintendo people are loyalists. I was a loyalist until they came out with the GC, which is an inferior product. It was the teens that grew up with nintendo. They could have had it grow with them, but instead they went for the new young people and lost a lot of their old loyalists.

I was loyal to nintendo for a long time. I was one of those kids who thought N64 was the best system ever. But Nintendo continuously came out with weak titles, while Playstation had awesome titles. When PS2 came out, I bought one. I hated X-Box and GC after that. Then I realized the modding capabilities of X-Box. So, now I only hate GC.

! Seriously? But if it's true then why? *rents 5 games* *rips 5 games* *returns 5 games same day and reports the didn't work so you get them for free*.

Now an X-box with both X-box and PS2 games, that would own. And a PS2 controller wouldn't hurt either... but the X-box ones aint bad...

i think the gamecube has the best controller, too. its so easy to get used to. ive played xbox so many times, and i still have to look at the controller to figure out which button im pressing. as you can see, my favorite system is Gamecube. it has the best games in each genre (in my opinion) and it has zelda. there even making a bonus disc with the 4 orginal zeldas, along with a gamecube for 100 bucks. you can't beat that. (for those of you who already have Gamecube and want the disc, it comes free with a sunscription to nintendo power)

I used to be loyal to Nintendo but not since they came out with GC either I hate GC all the games are to kiddish for me, but i still have a Super Nintendo.
I have recently tried X-box again (for about the 17th time) and now it is improving they are getting better games now but i still think that ps2 owns in the games that it has. And the ps2 controller is (in my opinion) the easiest one too use.
