Dynamo, we should call that Sidesteps or something, since on DDR that pattern makes you turn to the side.

What do we call 482648264826 and 628462846284 though?

I say we call it Sidestepping, due to the fact that when done on DDR you turn 45 degrees to the side when stepping it.

EDIT: Sorry, the last two were rolls, I deleted them.

Rolls are 428642864286 and 682468246824.

Rolls are any pattern of all 4 arrows. While 4286 and 6824 are definately the most common, they are not the only ones, for example, spins are rolls, they just have their own name.

Ok then, All I'm saying is I think the patterns 482648264826 and 628462846284 should have there own name like spins, since it's a different motion.

You can name them whatever you want, like personally I call 4628 "****ing retarded why can't I do these," but most of them don't have any adopted name. It just happens that spins are the most awkward pattern for DDR (there's also other spins besides the standard 4 arrow ones) so they got their own name.

The patterns I'm talking about are more of a trill that switches fingers every two notes
