I really wish I knew what kind of keyboard I have. I don't even know, I just kind of grabbed it from somewhere laying around and started using it 3-4 years ago.

It's okay to be yourself.

I use my laptop keys, and I personally find them very reliable because I don't require that much effort to press a key, while I do need enough effort so that I don't press a key accidentally. ^.^
P.S. I use an "AccuType Keyboard" according to my laptop.

if preggers did that... What would happen now if I moved beyond my stock keyboard? (shit is breaking, only a matter of time before I can't even type normally with it)

He might have meant the arrow keys or something. Laptop keys are great but it also depends because my Acer laptop I use for college stuff is absolute garbage but my Dell and awein's Dell were great (his keyboard was much less beaten than mine though, I could vibrate better on his laptop). It's just too bad my Dell got fucked by water
Also D5 to D6 is definitely a harder jump than D6 to D7 in FFR. The main difference between D6 and D7 honestly is having more pattern fluency -- the increase in speed and stamina isn't as important as being able to handle weird patterns (see how I can't play Super Mario World Shrooms as properly as Extratone Pirates). |

D3 to D4, d4 songs needs much more stamina also reading skill because songs has dense jumps stream and more, also are very tricky >. >

I think D2-D3 is the smallest step, and D5-D6 is probably the hardest. D3-D4 doesn't seem too big of a difference, or at least not take very long to achieve. When you're D3 you can already read and execute most of the common patterns, and all you need to build is some more speed, and stamina in some cases. Similar thing for D4-D5 really.

I stopped playing as well but I play like one chart once inawhile for shiggles and I honestly haven't noticed myself drop any lower than high D4 level. I still maintain a good amount of reading ability. Speed goes down brutally though and that's what really takes time to recover. |

When you stop playing for a bit, your skill never truly goes away, heh. You might lose the stamina and or speed you had, but nothing can take away how you perceive and read any given chart.

D4 to D5,
They are all large but the accuracy improvement takes a lot of work. |

D6 to D7 is the biggest and D1 to D2 is the smallest. It gets bigger as you move up. I feel I could get from D4 to D5 with enough practice and not really have to get all that much better than I am now.

D4-D5 was an intense division jump for me considering at the time I hadn't even got Oni.
I honestly wouldn't know D1 - D3 because I joined my first tourney in D4. D5-D6 I would say is lowest just for the sheer fact if you have the stamina and reading ability it's not all that big a jump.
