I'm pretty sure people would change their views on the judging system if Metro got 5/5/5/5. It actually *could* have gotten that with the right judging team btw haha. There are many files I've seen released that I found much better than most of the 5/5/5/5 files.

I have to agree with rushy on the 4th note thing. It amused me since I also looked at the notes for my TBCN file

AcidAce:
Decent song, but I gotta hand it to you. The stepping is horrible man. =/
Too many hands and jumpstreams in places that don't need em.

Automata:
Nice song, very smooth Dubstep. :3
Stepping is very nice too, but I don't think it deserves C ranking. Those bursts and BPM freezes make it more challenging than a C for sure.

Experiment:
Good song here too. Smooth and has a nice beat.
Not bad on the stepping. I would have done differently on some parts, but overall, not bad.

Sexplosion:
Wow, VERY fun song to listen to and play!
Great stepping too, don't know if I could have done better myself. ;D

lol, Preview's are awesome, but don't work very well if you turn mirror on.

I like all the new songs, Sexsplosion is a good example of a song that would be 10x better if it didn't have any singing at all (If you can even call it that) maybe save the first three words. But it's still a fun file.

apparently can't give an opinion without being attacked by 3 people + an IM saying look at the batch damn it got 20+.

I know it got 20+, I just find it unusual and unnecessary to run into random BS 4th note speedups. When I tried that for the batch once, the file got pretty much auto-rejected and that was a main reason.

I wasn't wondering why the file got accepted because I hated it.. I just don't see any reason outside of x-modding for the speedups to be there. There certainly are no x-mods in FFR, therefore it doesn't make sense to me.

Artistic visuals, I suppose. These days, a lot of people don't even touch xmod, so seeing different colored arrows is their way of appreciating the mere fact that a song has BPM changes.

Yea we do all see your point about that, and yea bmah is right about being artistic with it. Since FFR doesn't have mines, or general speed ups, then making the notes the same color is a nice and refreshing gimmick to add even if it does kinda add to the difficulty of AAAing the song slightly. Another file that has an example of just this would be Rebound's witchcraft on the DF engine.
