Re: Skill Token Suggestion
Anyways, I was reading a few days about about a Revo Etude v2.
Might be a tad "late" on the situation, but why not something like this.. Get less boos then goods, and less misses then averages on Revo Etude v1. This would stray away from the mashing aspect, yet keep it in the intended idea of "skill" token.

Re: Skill Token Suggestion
If we have blanket permission from Onoken, why isn't this stepped yet?
http://audio.isg.si/audiox/?q=node/36189 R8107. Would make an awesome skill token for K8107 and P8107, something to do with those songs in a row. Considering R8107 is those two songs together.

Re: Skill Token Suggestion
arg i was nutting out details of that first man...
Idea I was going to propose was an average-less pass of P8107 with 347 misses and max combo of 13, haven't figured out the pa of the K8107 though This is acheived by missing either the down arrow for P8107 and the up arrow of K8107. Do this 3 keyed pass of each back to back and unlock the 3rd song in the sequence? Damn you brian, lol <3 Edit: I wouldn't mind someone capable of aaa'ing K8107 to get me the pa breakdown of misses/max combo for avoiding the up arrows of it.

Re: Skill Token Suggestion
RATO should be single digit boo instead of 0, that's extremely difficult.
I'd like to see a FC 1-12 difficulty songs in a row kinda thing.

Re: Skill Token Suggestion
The problem with FCing 1-12 in a row is, if you mess up, you can refresh the page before it records. Basically you can cheat it easily.

Re: Skill Token Suggestion
Same with Eternus, Sail Away, Made in Innocent, Melomans OP and Sonata Quasi but they are all there.

Re: Skill Token Suggestion
Jae, I got 243 misses with 22 max combo missing the up arrow on K8107 twice in a row, so that seems to be the case.

Re: Skill Token Suggestion
Velocity could fix this, I think, by also tracking a song when you START playing. So then if you refresh, and the score doesn't get recorded, you'd get something like "played Rondo Alla Turca v2 - 0-0-0-0-0 0 combo 0 score" in between your attempts.

Re: Skill Token Suggestion
Anyone can FC lolo if they have any decent amount of skill.
That's of course assuming they Smashsmashrevolution it. Who cares if people cheat the 1-12? That shouldn't stop it becoming a token imo. I'd love to see a patch for it though.

Re: Skill Token Suggestion
If the 1-12 FC was in play, there should be at least a boo cap on the FC's so people just dont mash for the FC's.

Re: Skill Token Suggestion
Something like a total of 50 boos across all 12 or 100 boos would be reasonable.

Re: Skill Token Suggestion
Yep ... still takes a decent amount of skill, but its not just something "anyone" can do.
The argument over the last few pages seems to be over the difficulty that skill tokens should cover. In my opinion, there should continually be new tokens of all difficulty levels, maybe release them in 3's (easy, medium, hard ect.). That way it adds something for everyone. I'd personally like to see a more difficult Boo-Count token, like pass Max Forever with over 2400-2500 boo's (depending on how difficult it should be). A good boo score has as few averages and misses as possible. |

Re: Skill Token Suggestion
We should start thinking of easier ones too lol. (lol ninja'd by sax)
I was also kinda thinking of AAA 1-8 in a row(since Heavy requires a 9) or something along those lines. Just something average players can get.

Re: Skill Token Suggestion
Easier AAA tokens maybe? Like AAA a song with over 200 notes or specific songs, like Zelda Stormy
