Re: FFR Convention: An Epic.
Haha, I was so tired when we were at Mcdonald's. I look like I'm in my own little world and I'm about to pass out.
Someone got a picture of just me, but I told that person not to post it until I saw it first and gave the okay. =P |

Nice Chaz :/
Haha after reading this thread, I'm going to make it a priority to attend, no matter where it's at. Unless it's LA...that might be tough. Last edited by Sullyman2007; 01-28-2009 at 08:15 PM.. |

Yea it was awesome and I'll definitely be going again unless something drastic happens. Although like Manti, yea, there's no way in hell I'm doing that drive again.

Re: FFR Convention: An Epic.
A Toronto convention would be good for those who live in that area, but in comparison to many cities in the States, Toronto isn't that big. To me it'd make more sense to have a convention near there in Detroit or Chicago. Then again, I'm not too familiar with geography and population distribution out East, but I'm pretty sure Detroit'd be a bit more central in the big picture. Don't get me wrong, a convention in Canada would be uber awesome lol.

Re: FFR Convention: An Epic.
I almost never cross the border, so I'm not the one to answer that. But if it's anything even close to what it's like in Canada, getting a passport really isn't that hard. You just have to give yourself plenty of time.

Re: FFR Convention: An Epic.
Thanks for making a great read Flipsta. Makes me wish I went, but IMO, the date for the convention was really out of wack for my time schedule.
Also, a Canada convention would be cool, but IMO from my perspective Ontario is far away xD. Also, it would be hard to convince people south of the border to come over here because of stupid border security issues and passports and whatnot. That in itself (the general inconvenience that is) is cutting US tourists a lot from coming here. Lastly, I'm surprised that most of you guys don't know what bubble tea/bubble milk is. It's one of the tastiest drinks you can get. Buy one NAO Last edited by bmah; 04-1-2008 at 01:50 AM.. |

Re: FFR Convention: An Epic.
Ontario would be rad. Or Something East-coast/Canadian friendly. You do need a passport to travel to the states and vice versa but w/e yo. Also, wow I am jealous. Love the pictures.

Re: FFR Convention: An Epic.
damn you all that went. It sounds like yall had the time of yall life there. Synth and the rest of the Admins that will read this, you need to have a convention down in the Southeast region of the States. Atlanta GA, Destin Fl, Dothan Al are a good few places to choose from. Its not fair that it had to be way up north. But enough of me ranting. Ill try to go next year, i have the money and all, but a trip is nothing without fellow peeps to keep you company

Re: FFR Convention: An Epic.
We totally had an extra seat if you wanted to go knuckles. I told the other thread about me going to Philly to get picked by Manti. But yeah, you would have been chasing trains along with us, haha.
