Re: jTWG LX (60): Spring Break: Fun in the Sun!
Seems like best case scenario would be D3, yeah, but even that requires having finding someone to vigi in the short timeframe we now have. An assured kill wouldn't happen except under extremely unlikely circumstances:

Unless the vigi wanted to go by gut instinct but I don't see that being useful to our cause..

As an aside, the cognitive dissonance of not being able to correct my typos is overwhelming

I would really suggest against using the vigi so loosely, saving Gun is important but say you miss, you pretty much are throwing away a human killing power and wolfing someone anyway. This design seems to be meant to have the vigi and seering item used in conjunction with each other.
We're neglecting this day phase and who to lynch. The result of this lynch is vital in whether we end up saving Gun for an extra phase or not.

I'm personally wanting to vote for V because he either didn't read the role list or was trying to skate by without anyone pointing out Gun's mistake. I don't feel like V is the type to not read the rules of the game so I'm inclined to believe the former. His responses were just so seemingly clueless and that's just not.. V.

Re: jTWG LX (60): Spring Break: Fun in the Sun!
gun coming out basically gave the wolves a blue to kill tonight.
It seems to me that gun came out assuming the bodyguard was a guardian and not a wolfsbane? either way, either gun dies tonight or the bodyguard protects him for one more phase. What's the discussion here about longevity? The psychic is only useful to us in retrospect so the idea of keeping him alive enough for us to collect more readings is just us trying to milk the best out of a shitty situation. I suggest that Gun try and filter through players who claim they are blue and determine who should know what. Any ballsy wolf would send in a 'neutral' player (1) to claim bodyguard as early as possible because the vigilante role is impossible to fake (you'd just need to order them shoot one another, the one who survives is the vigi). If no vigi comes forth then Kraut was the vigi. The best case scenario we have Gun leading the group with a possible, hidden, backup, creating an effective alliance of three until Gun dies. |

Confirming that a vigi is alive/dead is a good thing because a vigi kill replaces the wolf kill. We wouldn't be able to tell otherwise.

we're not in a game of zinging people by noticing how they sometimes fail to live up to their own words or follow their own advice we're in a game of understanding people's motivations for the things they are saying.
or are you more concerned with finding hypocrites? gauruntee you at this juncture more than half of the hypocrites will be human. but we'll call this 2-0 manti defending viccica. |

Re: jTWG LX (60): Spring Break: Fun in the Sun!
You've played an agressive wolf two games in a row now and started off very similar to how you're starting this game. I want to know what V I'm dealing with, and applying a little bit of pressure in the form of a verbal attack never hurt anyone.
I also smell a hint of defensiveness in your last post that suprises me. You know just how effective verbal attacks can be, but instead of ignoring my quip you responded to it, indirectly defended yourself, and spread the blame amoung everyone. Interesting.

Yeah. Ill admit that I didn't full pay attention to the sign up phase which in turn lead me to make a stupid mistake and once I realized it was a bodyguard and not a regular guard, it was a bit too late to take back my general stupidity.
Manti, I did say something along the lines you did at the end of page two. I'm withholding my vote until we either get something more concrete in the thread or I figure something out. I highly doubt anyone is going to slip up knowing what I am. |
