I liked Plop's idea of just modkilling the inactives, especially if my instincts are correct and there's one wolf amongst them. If that's the case that'd probably be a good way to get a salvageably decent game out of this.

I don't think a host has ever dropped the game without first trying to encourage players to participate - dropping the game like this is irresponsible at best and insulting to the players who have participated at worst.

The reason I recommended that post requirements as a measure of inactivity not be considered is because the host should be involved with all players at all times, private messaging them, learning what they are thinking, etc.

If you're not as involved in the game you're hosting as your most active player you're being a bad host. You can't blame us for not wanting to host it, you just don't want to commit because the game didn't turn out to be the twg porn you wanted it to. But people are still playing it - so if you don't want to post vote updates and you don't want to engage with the players privately, fine, but don't come back 18 hours after a deadline and say you don't want to host anymore because you're OK with getting game bans in return. That's bullshit. We waited for results after the phase ended and you didn't provide.

That's shittier than the game's inactivity.

I want to apologize to all of you. I had a bunch more stuff come up that I had no idea was going on. Had I known I'd be this busy I wouldn't have signed up. It's just been really hectic for me.

The other issue I'm having is with this site slowdown shit. Every time I try to catch up it takes way too long to get through the pages.

This is an awful attitude.

If you're going to abandon the game, at least have the decency to put the reigns in someone else's hands. Don't just walk away from it and leave the eight people who are playing it high and dry like this.

I can take up the hosting power if everyone's cool with it. You guys need 3 replacements? No problem, I'll get three people who are signing up in that other TWG. The reason I don't want to be a replacer is because... lol, the site is slow. I can definitely host though, that won't be a problem for me!
