1. They want to improve it.
2. If they don't get the chance to improve it, then at least they have a score submitted. While it is non-elimination, missing a round in a tourney like this is still a death sentence.

Well yeah i see what you mean. but is there not a better word for it? Like when i think of place holder i think of when someone submits a score and is still in/in the front lol

And Samurai will AAA every round, unless for some reason one of these rounds has a song he can't AAA, which there are not many.
