Level 87.

One level away from Viking parties. Not like it matters much since I don't plan on doing them a whole lot.

I'm more looking forward to using my Red Oriental Fury Coat since it's a lot more def than my anakamoon. As it stands, I can take GPW magic full on with no HP gear, but I still need HP gear for bump damage.

Oh. I got doom this level too. Kinda gay for how short it is. Still pretty cool though. I think next level is gonna be all in dispel.

GAH! I keep leaving this game then coming back! I cant decide whether to start playing my mage again. Im sure ill have alot more fun once i get 30... Just two more lvls ;-;

Oh yeah! Oh and to whoever who asked about the ryden, it really is up to you. If you have the money, the extra attack is nice and very noticeable but it isn't aboslutely neccessary. Once you hit level 35 with that viper, scroll it and you will level like mad. Well level 3 puppet and level 1 mb now. I'm happy. Time to try vikings again >.<

Cam, for an archer, do I want mostly strength and some dex, or the opposite. I read the guide Squeek wrote on page 1, but I was confused at the part where he said IGNORE WHAT I SAID ABOUT STRENGTH. STR IS FOR LEVELS +5. So do I want lots of strength or lots of Dex.

STR is LEVEL +5

It means what it says it means. You know how I can say Dex = level x 2 for thieves, and Luk = level + 3 for Magicians? Well, STR is level + 5 for Hunters, and Level + 0 for Crossbowmen.

If you don't get it from this, then just add a lot of int to your archer. That will make him powerful.

I don't get what you mean by LEVEL +5. Does it mean, if I want to become a Hunter then I put in str +5 per level?

Alright, I just decided to come back to this topic for a second.

Level 50- 55 strength.
Level 51- 56 strength.
Here comes the hard one.
Level 55- 60 strength.

I don't even know what you're talking about, but that's what Squeek is trying to say.

Hooray math is easy.

Your level 30 bow requires 35 STR to use. Your level 35 bow requires 40 STR to use. Your level 40 bow requires 45 STR to use.

This is difficult.

Ok, so then it's +5 str every 5 levels.

Almost. 40 to 50, you don't get anything new, so just do pure Dex until 49. At level 49, it's 5 str, then 5 more at 50 for your new digs.

OK, I know most of you probably aren't in for a rant about why people are ****ing stupid or how the universe has a sick sense of humor. Feel free to skip this post or any other wall of text posts like this you may see me make.

I was looking for a channel at GPW (GPW is apparently the new coolies... not only is it crowded, but... well, you'll see in a moment why such a connection is relatively easy to make). I had a crusader friend with me as well.

Eventually, we get to a channel with a flying vac hacker. I go to the bottom to check for people before realizing what's going on. I find myself going over to the right where the drops are falling to.

Then this f/p mage comes out of no where and starts killing the huge mob I'd had on me. It's not even like I had aggro'd them and didn't want them. It was obvious I was fighting them. So basically, he attacks them and whatever. Not that big of a deal, I guess. I've been KS'd by assholes before. Nothing new.

So I give him the standard "Why'd you KS me?" His response was "there's a hacker up there" as though that actually justifies anything.

So I defame him.

Then I go back to trying to find a channel. The f/p mage follows me, and not only defames me back, but also begins to KS me again. This was especially annoying because we had just found a channel.

I just can't stand how people can be so damned stupid. How can you KS someone, know you're being an asshole, then still be upset when they defame you? Then, not only that, but act like fame means nothing. If fame really meant nothing to you, not only would you not defame me, but you wouldn't retaliate for me defaming you. Stupid. Damn.

Then whatever. I leave there and -FOR SOME REASON I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS- the f/p mage didn't follow and KS anymore. So yeah, the crusader and me do probably about 1.1 laps around the map, when a lower level priest comes up.

He says, in perfect newbie ****ty english, "Can you take two hits?" I politely tell him that it's only possible for a priest to take two hits with a DK. He then says "How do you do it with lag?" I tell him I don't lag at all (take notice of this). Then he says "Do you use MG?" I say "no" then pause for a moment and say "what a stupid thing to say." The lower level priest (who really had no business being at GPW without a DK anyway) then goes on a mini tirade about how "pros" have "sht!" (something to that effect... definitely attempted a censor bypass and mispelled it anyway) manners. Then he leaves.

Now, after we get to the bottom, I'm mobbing all the GPWs up. Then, all of a sudden, for no reason at all, I get the kind of lag where you can't attack or heal, but the monsters still move and you can still be hurt. Needless to say, I died.

So, key points:

#1: The assholes who used to treat me like **** at Coolies are now at GPW. GPW also apparently gets a lot of people all of a sudden.

#2: I don't even see how my lag could be considered karma. I was patient with the moron, HE WAS JUST A SUPER MORON

Meh. Looking back though, it's not a big deal. Today was my third day at level 86. I began the day at like 94%. I got my level fast (then, ironically died, possibly due to a glitch involving leveling through getting exp from healing). So basically, it's just like I didn't get a whole lot of exp the 2nd day of my last level, and it took 3 full days to level. In 3 days to get 105% isn't too bad for me.

You're fine. Just don't add dex for awhile. Like squeek said, your dex is your level +5. So, say you're level 50, you should have 55 dex etc.

@Afro: Lots of people in this game are kids that are most likely under 10. You will very rarely meet someone with common sense.

Yeah, I'm getting pretty aggravated with everyone (especially assassins) at zombies. As much as I hate to become what I hate, I can't wait until I have maxed IS, as I'm likely going to spend a day being the zombie police. Dress in lower gear and just use regular ice strike. When someone KSes me, clear the channel with ice strike, and follow them around for a while as punishment.

But seriously. People at zombies have no manners. I'm perfectly fine sharing a channel with someone, but I HATE it when someone just comes and requisitions half the channel without saying a word to me. And that's when they're nice enough not to just KS the **** out of me. =\

If you are an archer, I would recomend using a melee weapon until level 18 with the battle xbow (or the level 18 xbow if that isn't the name). That way, pump all your points into str until it is 35 so you are stronger with melee and you can save up arrows. At level 18 your bow damage should far outdamage your melee damage so then you make the switch. Having a bow at level 10 is rather pointless because you do way more damage with a dagger or any other melee weapon because damage formula is different. Try it out and see which damage is greater with what weapon.

Sorry to hear about that afro. You have no idea though the type of morons in scania though. I usually either cc or just ignore them until the moron dies or leaves. Retaliating in a situation like that usually results in those types of things. Just walk is off and continue playing. That really is the best thing to do.

MB is cool looking. You can't see it in this SS but it looks like you are passing gas/boostering and then a little arrow pops out =D



Oh and level 3 puppet is quite useful for mobbing the bottom of the DT map. 10 seconds is much better then 5 =D



I hate how DTs have so much def >.< Well I'm at 10% right now from training at DTs. I leave on Sunday so I might get to level again. Oh yes, 2x exp on Saturday, check the site.

EDIT: Forgot to say... Those suggestions are if you are going to be a hunter/ranger (bows). If you are going to be a xbowman (which I actually recomend now because they are WAY stronger then rangers.. >.<) then leave your str at 30. After you get your str to the correct number (whether or not you are a xbowman or a bowman) pump everything into dex until you are level 30. Then follow the pattern of making sure you get enough str for your next bow and so forth.
