Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Sign-ups closed.
Uhm there have been people in D5 previous years that had multiple FGO AAA's. Theres people in D5 BETTER than me, Gradiant, Cammy, Jrodd, etc lmao
Either way maybe ill luck out or skill boost again and actually get top 16

The only FGO I really let go for D5 in tournaments was lolo and that was prior to there being a D7. Not multiple FGO AAA's

D4
I'd probably be dddded I don't know How did I get there anyway omg ...To be pretty honest I thought I was going to be in D3 because of (maybe) how high the standards are. |

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Sign-ups closed.
There were two extraneous circumstances last year with FGO or near FGO AAAs: MrPopadopalis25 was in D5 last tournament with a Frictional Nevada AAA, and he lost relatively early. ca25nada had 1g on Love & Justice in D5, and made it to top 8. As you can see looking at the dashboard, neither of them are D5 this year.
Standards have changed for this tournament, and I've stressed that multiple times -- D7 is playing their own songs this time around, as opposed to being a branch off of D6; that is a huge deal, because it changes the dynamic by having the top group playing their own songs. As such, the entry level for subsequent divisions is a little bit lower than it was last year. (D5 is still to be looked at again, as mentioned in the thread earlier.) |

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Sign-ups closed.
Didn't take it as you complaining but didn't want people to get the idea in their head that multiple FGO's was something that was okay in D5 and start freaking out about placements. There are some people that only come around during tourney time and don't really know what to expect at all.

Low SDGs on high VCs isn't something you really see in D3. Just for one example you have 1 good on asdf movie song which is a 63.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Sign-ups closed.
What are the standards like for each division? I'd imagine I'm either D2 or D3, but the last tournament I was in was a long time ago...the general skill level of the community has definitely gotten a lot better.
