Found a 121 priest vaccing at klocks.

Accounting is his name. Ranked 35 in Bera.



If any of you have the time, /find him and report. Normally I wouldn't make such a big deal about it, but he is 121 and was extremely cocky (his words were something along the lines of "I started a week ago and I get 20 reports per day. I won't be banned.")

Tell him getting too much LUK can give you herpes.

Also, I read somewhere that if you play a pure INT into the 80s and 90s your power is equal to or less than a regular mage. If this is true, the guy was correct, even though he said it in a moronic way.

Nope. Even if pure int does have a point where they're weaker than normal (it's surely a very high level... i would estimate no lower than 120, especially if we get black umbrella-- 85 magic attack on top of massive int compared to ~115 magic attack with much less int), I can always just start adding luk to be able to equip a kage anyway.

I seriously doubt you'll play your INT that high though anyway so I guess it hardly matters. Took your priest long enough, no way you'll get another character that high.

My priest still isn't that high. You can't ignore the fact that my pure int has better exp rates though. I could have my pure int up to par with my priest shortly if I quit my priest entirely.

Because I'm awesome. I'd still have my last.fm in my sig, but I got a lot of **** for my taste in music and denness.net is making you have to pay now or some bull**** like that.

Also it was declared that all the cool people put it in their sigs again, and I'm not one to follow trends like that.

Sorry I haven't been online at all today. I probably won't be able to play at all the rest of today and all of tomorrow because we are redoing carpets in order to sell the house in a couple of weeks >.< Not sure when I'll be able to play again but just letting everyone know that I won't be leveling at all like I was planning to and I probably won't be on jms anytime soon. Sorry =/

This is his 3rd 50 atk scarab he's scrolled, 2nd of the day.

I bought it for 115m. Had to sell 2 steelies to get it to 80m. Then I dropped him 5 steelies and did this (my idea).

Now, I just need a Seraph to put them on.

Once I have it done, I should be able to solo DT without my tube... unless all 5 fail.

As it is, I can already solo MDT and I'm planning on partying with a crusader there tomorrow

Concerning the pure int thing: The reason pure ints are better at all is because a wooden wand gives 23 matk, but the level 5 levels up only gives 5 more but requires 15 luck. Assuming everybody rolls 5/5, that means the luck mage will have to add 10 luck to get that 5 matk benefit. So really, they're 5 matk behind the pure int who just uses a wooden wand. This gap continues on into later levels and luck mages begin to catch up and surpass pure ints because of the int added from gear, but then you hit level 40 and yellow umbrellas come into play. Perfect yellow umbrella = 58 matk, and it's not too much to buy if you're a pure int (you save a lot of money on gear). A 58 matk perfect fairy wand requires 40 luck. Again, assuming a 5/5 roll, the luck mage is now behind by 35 matk. Also, most mages wouldn't have a perfect matk fairy wand, so they'd prolly be behind by more. However, most people get a scrolled cromi, so at level 48 a luk mage could have a 5int 75 matk cromi (80 total matk). That requires 50 luck (45 more than umbrella) and is 22 matk better, so the pure int has a 28 matk advantage. Of course, then the lama came out, so a pure int can have a super scrolled lama staff that's better than most cromis without needing any luck, so pure ints keep winning. Of course, I'm not adding up int/luck from gear. My mage has +30 int on him right now, but 13 of that is cape/staff, which a pure int could have, so that's 17 int that a pure int wouldn't get from gear. Plus some of my gear adds luck, so I don't have as much luck as I really need for my staff. If/when I upgrade to a Kage, I will get higher level gloves/shoes that add luck so that I don't have to add as much. The only way a pure int could really be beat by a luck mage is if mage weapons weren't all level+15 matk. Like, if a staff 10 levels higher gave 15 matk more, a luck mage would be able to catch up to pure ints, but that's not the case.

Already put a scroll on my gaia, so no good there. Also, I'm not going to put the HP on a cape that has less mdef (since mdef is pretty huge for me right now... I need my highest mdef gear to take MDT without HB). I guess a gaia would be fine, but why go gaia when I can go seraph and be much better.
