Oh, dang. This round ends Sunday, today is Sunday, and I gotta get ready for bed soon!
I realize it is my fault for not playing earlier, but can I get a one-day extension or something to keep me in the tournament?

depending on how well you can do on the file it might be better to submit a half-assed score now because you get a pretty steep penalty of -125 points + -25 points per hour that it's late

That is a bit steep, I am going to keep the initial -125 but change it to -125 more for every 12 hours thereafter. Really per hour doesn't make a whole lot of sense when I think about it. I'll change the OP to 125 point penalty for every 12 hours late.

I'm using a point system for round scores too so that one bad round won't completely obliterate someone like a cumulative tournament would.

If you play A, your partner must play B, and vice versa.
