In my nep honey hunt I managed to find 2 cape scrolls, a 60% and a 10%. Both were pretty worthless, so I decided to scroll my justice cape XD. BOTH WORKED. Cool. Stats are still pretty useless, but I think it's a cool cape.

I assume that the 60% was a HP and the 10% was def or something

10% was an HP. Both added def and wep def.

And I did it because I was bored and the scrolls are worthless. Turned out good.

82% of 41. Gonna level tomorrow, do Icarus quest and hopefully get Icarus Cape (2). For those of you wondering, the warp items you get from the Clock quests don't warp you between worlds. You can only go from Ludi to Omega with them and vice versa.

k guys who are playing jMS we're gonna try our Kerning PQs starting tomorrow.

If you're not 21, get to 21. If you're already 21, go higher so you can actually hit things.

I'm 27 so aside from the Slime King I think I can handle the tough stuff. EB is 23 now with maxed claw, so he's got us covered there.

We're thinking 1:00PM EST. I probably won't be awake by then. If not, you can probably make a party of 4 FFRers at 21 or so and hope for the best. If by some chance I don't sleep 12 hours tomorrow and I am up at 1:00, we'll go nuts.

I'm 10 in jMS, but I won't really get the chance to play today. Tomorrow I probably will, and I'll probably just grind to PQ level.

I'm a crossbowman-to-be. Just gonna be melee for the most part 'til like level 17 probably.

Since Eric mentions bowmen/xbowmen being melee, I thought I'd bring this up:

Just to see how much dex beats str when you don't have mastery (after mastery dex is worthless for warriors) and are using non-arrow weapons, let's put some random numbers in the damage calculator.

Using a 100 watk spear with 200str/50dex = 104 ~ 1050 dmg
Using a 100 watk spear with 50str/200dex = 213 ~ 450 dmg

Now some people would say that it looks like str definitely wins, but remember that being consistent helps a lot. Bowmen with melee weapons are much more likely to 1hk things consistently than warriors. Only problem is you don't get slash blast or power strike to help out. =\

PS: OMG WE NEED TO PQ SO I CAN HIT 2ND JOB SUDDENLY WITH MINIMAL EFFORT! Once Squeek hits 31 and can't PQ anymore, if there are people close to 21 I will wait until we have another 4-person party and purposely die in every PQ once I hit 30 (in bonus, of course, so I still get rewards) until the rest of you are pretty close to level 30. That way we can all stick together and hit 35 pretty quick in order to PQ in Ludi. =)

Sorry I couldn't come on at 1 or earlier today :/ wasn't able to get online until now.

Only two levels to go, so I'll try to grind there as soon as I can. I forsee my time available to play MS dwindling in the near future =( but I really want to be able to play with you guys, so I'll do my best.


EDIT: Forgot to mention that last night I saw a Matrix cash shop item. The guy was wearing sunglasses that gave him that MATRIX AURA! He was surrounded by a fuzzy aura of that green Matrix moving line thingy. I tried to get a screenshot, but it failed. :/

They had their account stolen a while back and the person who stole it was spamming megaphones saying "hentaisin hacked by *whatever*"

I really hate how people use the word "hack" to mean scam or steal. In fact, NO ONE in MapleStory hacks, not even the people who have godmode and things like that.

By the way, thanks for always telling me to switch to a diff weapon when fighting DT, noah. I died today because of it.

Oh well. I got all the quests in Omega Sector done (sans the stupid tentacle, of which I have about half of the chain done). So yeah... it's fizard time.

They are real life bf and gf. They were both around level 80-82 at one point, then the guy shot up to 100 in a few days. He claims he was hacked. Haha yeah sure buddy. I'm sure the guy hacked you, leveled you, then gave it back with all your stuff!!

What exactly is grinding??? Because what I think it is, is probably different from what everyone else thinks...Is it just killing and not picking up the items???

As far as I understand it it just means going on a killing spree somewhere in order to level as efficiently as you can, killing things that give you a good EXP rate and not stopping to rest or anything.

And for anyone on jMS who doesn't know yet, I'm now lv. 21 and ripe for PQing.

1 PM Eastern time isn't going to work for me. I have school until 12ish PACIFIC TIME so I'm kinda screwed there. Level 21 now. Painters came over so I was out of the house for almost 2 days so sorry I couldn't pq with you guys =(
