It's too slow for jack-syndrome, but it might be low FMO.

Hey Tass, can you check my files before you release them to make sure they don't get cut off in the beginning? It happened to 3 or 4 of my files, and it's getting annoying.

i check that crap right before i add them. and i've stated many times that it's the simfilers responsibility to add 2 seconds of silence. if you don't, it'll have notes cut off.

if you want to re-send in mp3s/dwis that are updated, feel free. others have. but it isn't my responsibility.

Audacity works too. Goldwave is free trial only I think, but Audacity is freeware. I don't see why you're prohibited from downloading freeware in your household.

Subject of silence for simfiles

But what if the arrows start a few measures after the song? Like if you had about 5 measures or with no arrows, would that count as your 2 seconds of silence?

Well I meant like the music was playing but the arrows haven't started scrolling yet. Like if you know anything about DDR, MAX 300's mp3 starts on measure 1 but arrows don't start until measure 4.

Sometimes the judges accept files that aren't perfect, what're you gonna do?

Also, seriously, is there anyone who can help check my mp3's and edit them if necessary? Unfortunately I don't have anything I can give, aside from some of my unreleased files if anyone's interested.

EDIT: Yeah, I'm talking about adding 2 seconds so that the first notes don't get cut off.

Try MixMeister express 6 demo. Just keep the song under 3 min.or you'll get a message in your final result

I don't think there's a way, unless you can record two seconds of silence with the sound recorder, then stick that onto the front of the mp3.

I can add the 2 seconds of silence for you, Stargroup. Just email me the mp3s.
