I have the first roll on Finder mindblocked so badly, I ALWAYS get 2 goods on it, and I just can't do the rest of the song without messing up afterwards.

Lessons I learned from this thread:

1. I should play FFR and only FFR, that way my skill can be tediously measured/tracked at all points in time.
2. I deserve vROFL even though it doesn't mean anything to anyone and hasn't since it was released.
3. Everyone other than me is one or more divisions better than where they are, and if they have any decency, they should tell someone to move them up.
4. I should never play songs that are a higher difficulty than what I can AAA, ever. Otherwise I might get a decent score. Which is bad.
5. The tournament organizers and FFR staff clearly have no idea what they're doing.
6. I am a decent person who is just trying to keep this tournament on a level playing field, despite my constant bickering, witch-hunt mindset, and inconsistent behavior patterns.

This tournament has taught me so much about the world.

You know, I was thinking if future tournaments could be held something like... world cup/LoL/DotA 2 style tournaments. Non-seeded/seeded players in group stages, then top 2 from each group proceed to knockout rounds (best out of 16, quarters, semis, etc.). Peeps agree on an arranged time, then duke it out in multiplayer (best out of 5 songs? each dude picks 2 songs each, then a pre-set tiebreaker song or something if its 2-2). Maybe implement loser/winner brackets for an added touch.

Don't know how it could be properly implemented into FFR (because divisions, and probably too many players to handle) but it was just a thought i'd like to share. pce

So, uh... I've been playing in browser for my whole FFR career. I wasn't doing too well on this song, and downloaded Flash 11 standalone. Loaded up the engine, went to Night Walker. Thought to myself "Okay, let's see..." and... on the first try...
