we had one of the worst d0s in history and I was trying to do something about it, yet nobody really gave a shit and was content with letting top lynch be a kitb between two candidates WITH TWO VOTES AS THE SWING NUMBER I still would like to see blind dead (and answer my follow-up question) but I'm exploring other avenues I'm in the middle of decoding your tower post between classes so give me a bit for that |

she's probably right in general about me being more jargony/jokey than other people; my presence in a game is probably a culture shock in itself
--- ben, feel like you're talking around sunfan with that read when he's probably one of the easier players to talk to directly and get fun and interactive gameplay out of star does it a bit too but i don't think she's been here to respond back to sunfan's longer reply yet |

Re: TWG CLXXIV - Sounds Like You've got a Problem. - Game Thread
It's time to address a read that I didn't care to make on d0
I think I'm going to give a town read to sunfan for the same reason he's giving a town read to star, and that's mostly him making a post that can't really be faked. There are a few things in his towerpost that felt coming off as genuine, almost like a tone of confession. One town thing I that I got from the nature of the post is that it looks like he typed it on mobile. If you look at his other posts, they're lower case, a few lines a part, and don't feature typos like "I am particularly bad at d0 so for him >>et al<< I try to..." A post this large with that many unfiltered thoughts ON A MOBILE DEVICE screams to me potential for slips, mishaps, etc. Speaking of meta a little bit, I think wolf sunfan is a bit more careful with his posts and this definitely does not speak it. As for the intent and content of the post, let's have a look at the things that stood out "I was very tired (when I posted about my hat)" -what benefit does a wolf get from defending this point, lol. I don't think anyone is going to burn you at the stake for this "I don't look for the same things in games... most of the time" -sunfan considering a paradigm shift in regards to reading players lays out his strategy plainly and locks him into a different philosophy for which we can hold him accountable for "Most of the time I try to read him on his emotion but that hasn't really been present" -I guess this doesn't count as a statement I'd consider towny, but I do want to ask you a question related to it: when you say you haven't felt emotion this game, is that you presenting a read or you saying you're unable to read him with this metric? "and honestly that's less than the average number for me I think" -obviously someone can emulate a town mindset, but dropping this comparing their current mindset to past mindsets at town in the middle of such a gargantuan thought post makes this seem pretty genuine sunfan having second thoughts and not feeling apologetic/confident yet paints him as a "somewhat lost town" for me "I think this is everything" -this sounds so pure I cried |

Hey blind, using meta is bad.
Everyone else uses meta and its ok. The fuck. Also, as I said, the kitb doesn't have much to do with my read on wine. After catching up though, I'd at best put him in null/town. I'm thinking Mellon is the way to go based on her posting, and her post "I'm posting to make me post more" which she has done before as wolf.

Just, every game I've played with her almost. If I vote her she'd come back angry and give a read on like two people to prove she's playing and then leave again. Probably leave a vote me on me too (wouldn't be the first 5 times) Trying to read Raeko is pointless we either find one of the other wolves or admit we have no good lynch and policy her. |

I think reading Raeko as wolf here because of her posting style is pretty lazy right now because as far as I can see he hasn't added enough to the conversation to tell.
It also happens to be the one person who is likely not to be here and fight back. I mean, of all the posters here that are playing you don't find a single one of them worth suspecting at all? It's the one not here who in all honestly is not doing anything that she doesn't always do |

Re: TWG CLXXIV - Sounds Like You've got a Problem. - Game Thread
fun fact: I still need to read through the rest of sunfan's posts
ben's post left me underwhelmed, probably because of the sour taste in my mouth about speculating about why FG was killed and why Gradiant wasn't killed at all. I did like the logic about the people he voted for (and them being nervous about being sniffed out), but the nature of this speculation gets us nowhere. he also admits it's a stretch so.... he makes a very unclear case about agreeing with star about wnb, but really just says it "sounds genuine" which doesn't really mean anything his read on sunfan is based off of what happened to him as well as agreeing with MML, which doesn't really show much work on his behalf yes I realize that last statement is a bit hypocritical by way of my admission but it looks lame |
