4x is fun

Crespo is a bitch for a bagi though ;o Me and meno formed a party. I was clocking about 50ish percent an hour during 4x, though that probably could have been a bit higher if meno stopped running back to get pots D: lmao. We need a seg.

I hope the next exp events are also 2x with 4x events...the game feels...more natural. The baseline exp rate for this game is just too low for how many areas you actually have available to you. The grind gets pretty ridiculous.

If you think the grind is bad at 5x and 6x, you're in for a treat when you get around 80.

A 2x run in Crespo got me 5%.

You see why I've pretty much quit?

Got 5 or so levels today. Level 65 now. One more to Evil Crow. After that, my motivation to level will probly drop substantially.

Hey, 2moons is still faster EXP than Maple. And it has a lower level cap. And it has reasons to keep playing.

But in any case, I'm done playing MMOs for quite a long time, so it doesn't matter at all.

Yea, i've seen the rates later on.

Realistically, once school starts up again I'm done. I'll probably play during events and that's it until the summer time where I have more time. Though, I'm not even sure if I wan to keep my bagi. D: I know it'll get significantly stronger as I level up from now on, though it's a complete **** sack compared to every other class at the crespo level. High def and health do you about no good whatsoever, and then we have the lowest attack and no good aoes until a much higher level. What the **** D:

Wouldn't it be way faster for you to level at like, python castle?

Oh I thought you meant 5% an hour with 2x exp hahaha. And it's true that maple is relatively pointless but I still find it fun, whether I'm training or not. If I get bored, I just log off or take a break from the game (hell, I took a year and a half off that game). I haven't tried 2 moons but I'd rather not get addicted to another game. =]

Their quest system is a little ridiculous though. Your first quest is to go out and kill 10 of the easiest enemy outside your town (depending which castle you picked to start in, they're different) which is pretty standard...except you can't start that quest until level 2. Of course the way you get to level two is to go and kill some of the easiest anymore outside your town...which makes that "You aren't ready for this quest" message a little silly.

So far I haven't been allowed to start a quest that wasn't pretty close to trivially easy once I was a high enough level to be allowed to start it. I assume at the high end, maybe that's a little less true.

"Kill 100 of these, then come back, then go to this guy who's really far away and not close to a teleporter, then talk to him, then kill 50 more of these things (which don't spawn often!), then go to this guy who's really far away, then this other guy, then back to me. I'll give you a hat. A crappy hat. Oh, and this is the only quest you'll get for another 7 levels."

Reach: thanks to level restrictions on maps, I'm not allowed to go anywhere. I want to go to the Beach to farm for 3rd tier legendaries, but it requires level 85. Python would be better, but it requires level 90.

Sounds like they could really use someone who actually knows about game flow, and cost/benefit analysis in video games to kick them in the face.

More to the point, one thing all these MMOs need that I've ever seen is more elements like Diablo 2 where there are occasionally just larger boss-type monsters in places on the maps.

Ever single time I go to Braiken via North Ares, there's that cool black swirly portion on the middle east of the map, I -really- wanted there to be some neat sub-boss guy over there. I think there's a graveyard in North Morte that is the same way.

2moons is still in beta stage and isn't a finished game. I know there are far more bosses in the completed version. There are probably more quests too, among other things...though it's still a grind fest. =/

And level restrictions are pretty stupid IMO. I mean, they already have enemy level exp deductions in place, so it seems absolutely pointless to restrict access based on level... other than to annoy players and increase the number of quitters based on being forced to grind in a single area D:

PS: I just got a quest: "take this job and shove it". I kill 100 (ring a bell?) lasputin hunters and return to the guard at the end of castor2 to get nothing but more monsters to kill, but no reward at all.can someone tell me if this quest actually gives me something or if I should just quit it.

Looks like I'll stick with my ****ty bagi, since it's going to get a lot stronger at this point anyway once I start getting some of the nice higher level AOEs.

Hopefully there will be 4x exp this weekend. Someone needs to come party with me so I can get some levels since a level 55 bagi can't solo in crespo for **** ;o

The +10% exp for having ads appear at random times works now. It's not half bad.

I <3 the +10% exp, it's great for crespo dungeon.

@Reach: hold out at least until you're 56 when you get earthquake. HUGE asset, it hit quite powerfully and it stuns the enemies for ~3 seconds.
Can't wait to hit 62 when I get tornado.

PS: I hate acclaim support, they keep telling me my acclaim coins will come in a few more weeks.
bull**** a few more weeks, I'm emailing them again on january first. If they don't manually give my my acclaim couns (because automatic failed me), I'm gonna send an angry email to them.
