Tempo has nothing to do with difficulty ranks, and if you think that file is "bursty", then you clearly don't actually know what bursts are, because d1 will be lucky to see any throughout the tournament, period.

This song is way less rage-inducing than other opening files we've had.

everything above 70 is 2hard4me so does that mean round 2 for d5 is gonna be like 80s or something idk how this works

from what I've seen last tournament the songs get progressively harder

Round one defeated! Took four tries. After the first two I realized I needed to change my key setup because my keys were starting to give me random boos so I switched to xc,. and now I'm good to go

Just wanted to stop by here and say that Lexus Cyanixs is a really fun file and I'm glad I get to grind it for round 1 haha. I haven't come clase to AAAing it but just got 5 goods and can definetly improve. Just gotta.... get rid of rust =|

EDIT: 2 goods now \o/

EDIT2: Dangit XD. I have no clue what keys I'm pressing to nail this file but it feels good doing it haha.

Tried both positive and negative and nothing really seems to help, also tried the number that pops up if you hover over your speedmod and no real results to speak of.

I saw this and got really worried because how can I compete with someone who aces a 56 and is confident of a AAA. Then I got 3-0-0-1 on sightread... Was it easy or is it just one of my strengths?

So I played it again (because it seemed like a better solution than to just leave it at the question above) and I got 6-0-0-0 because I got a bit loose towards the end. Fill Me Up With Snacky Happiness feels way too easy to be a 56.

Oh well. New highest SDG.

I feel the same way, I slipped a bit in the center, but it is extremely easy for a 56 imo as well. The D3 file is also easy for a 43, but I guess there were just no patterns that I had issues with. Can't wait to see next round. Possible RIP
