Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
considering this is a non-elimination tourney, you're denying yourself the opportunity to fix your said issue

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
Sorry >_<
IRL has not been kind to me this week, and the time I wanted to spend doing placements last night, instead I had to write the newpost. Also gawd damn Op and Eze, those [Dump] scores, not sure if D5A :s I could actually create a 4th subflight for D5 just because the skill varies so massively in that division... interesting option... Anyway I'd just like to apologize again for taking so long with the placements. I am working as hard as I can on them, really.

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
D5A, D5B, D5C, and D5D sounds good
heh but then some divisions will have like 2 people competing :c |

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
I almost feel like Dossar is so far above the rest in certain ways that you might as well dump everyone from Op/Eze and up into D5A...

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
oh come one now, putting me and Eze in the highest division would just be suicide. There's no way we're near having skills for that AND we do Not meet your D5A reqs anyway. w/e

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
Yeah this is the problem with D5, I want to keep it interesting with the feeling that everyone in their flight has a chance to compete, but there's a few outliers (Dossar obviously, then OWA/OP/EzE compared to the rest of D5B) that make it difficult. I could make those three a separate division, but then if one of them pussies out and stops submitting it would be a little boring... putting all of them in D5A would make a 6 person division, which is more along the lines with the rest of the divisions in the tournament in terms of player density.
I'll ask you guys- which is more fun, two 3 person divisions with the chance for people to drop out and lose the competition... Or one big D5A division where it's Power Rangers vs Lord Dossar kind of feel? I am open to both options, so let me know. In the end I want to make it the most fun for everyone involved, that's really my only goal. also now maybe you can see why placements take a long time, having to think about all this kind of stuff constantly does make it take a while ._.

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
Well if that's the only options, I'll have to go with a bigger D5A division then.

But yeah those are the only two options I can come up with. It's either 4 flights, or a small group of D5 players somewhere feeling rather hopeless against their competition. I am trying my best, but I can only do so much

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
Finalized the following:
The spontaneous contest ends the evening of Satuday the 11th at 10PM server time. This includes the "make a video" portion. Just a heads-up. EDIT- I'll be doing another update tonight too. At the moment I have to go fix a broken shade on my window *grumble grumble*

gg Also, my suggestion is to let the tourney run for a while in D5B, if it looks like we're winning by a long shot, move us up. Last edited by EzExZeRo7497; 02-10-2012 at 06:54 PM.. |

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
If you play the long version and put a real effort into singing it (like justin) and I am sufficiently entertained, yes, you will definitely get a bonus :P

Re: hi19hi19's Delicious Custom Theme Tournament
The video will be rather similar to the one I already have but with a louder and more manly voice, good enough?
