In Germany you have to go before a court and tell them the first and middle name you wish to give to your child. They vote on it and tell you to change it or not. They do that so no one names their kid anything stupid or so they don't have 200 girls named Mary all born in the same year. I think it's dumb but whatever. I believe you can also have them select a name for your child if you can't pick one on your own.

Frank Zappa's daughter is named Moon Unit. Gweneth Paltrow's daughter is named Apple. The main girl from A Knight's Tale (I forget her name), her daughter is named Audio Science. Jon Davis from KoRn has a son named Pirate. Moulder from the X-Files has a son named Kyd. The list of weird celebrity kid names goes on forever.

I knew a man who was going to name his son Flip D. Byrd. Im not lying. The "D" didnt even stand for anything! Thank God the child was born a girl.

What the hell is the point of naming your child something like "@" or "4-real?" If he goes to school what are his friends going to call him? "Hi uh.... at?" That would just be awkward.

At least the meaning they chose had a loving connotation? XD; The child would probably have the easiest name ever to write, too; instead of his first name being 10 or 15 strokes, it'd only be one!

There were sisters who went to high school with me named Rainfall and Waterfall. I also have a friend named Thu pronounced two. People name their kids some mean things, then again I wanna name my son Ares Apollo and Shayne thinks thats stupid.
