I dont look down on bar raping. I try to do it as little as possible, but if i need to, i use it. Being that im 6'3", 205 lbs, i DO bar rape from the beginning on any 10 footer i attempt. Other than that, the only time i bar rape is if my legs lock up near the end of a difficult 9 footer, i.e. near the end of CSFIL Speed mix, R & P, and the Drop Out final run, none of which i do everytime, only if im tired.

i can see dropout i guess but not csfil, thats not too difficult even if you double step

Do it PIU style and only use the bar for break dancing.

AAA MAX300 heavy doubles while freestyle breakdancing....hah that would be great.

agreed, but whenever im doing csfil, its usually as my last stage, after a full round of fast 8's and 9's (the 8th mix at my arcade is set at 5 songs). the steps at that point in the song are by no means difficult, considering my skill level. its just im damn tired by then.

It'd be like 2 games back to back, which isn't bad unless you play some really hard stuff, but it'd be fun to play something really hard, then 2 rest games, then something really hard, then go for extra stage.

maka i've seen LOM passed without the bar (he BARELY passed, but it was also the first time he had passed without the bar...I know he could do unlimited and 300 without the bar too)
he told me his goal was PSMO without the bar O_O

second, how is it bad for your arms if you're not in that height range? it MIGHT be bad for your shoulders, if you're stupid and you hold it in the wrong place. you do realize you can hold it on the sides of the bar and you don't have to hold the top, right?

short people, often means shorts arms and/or legs. Whenever I bar rape, which is very very rare, unless I'm trying to improve *i.e. me doing matsuri jeavy hehe, no flames please* i have to hold the side part of the bar, because if I hold the top, it pushes my shoulder up, very uncomfortable and you'll have a stiff muscle by the end of the day if you're playing for a long time like that.
