Ive never played in the ITG but it looks pretty cool. Damn, you guys are so lucky to be able to play a beta of DDRSN. I live in texas, wich sucks. The only DDR's I know of withing driving distance of my house is 4th mix single and DDRX at a mountasia arcade. Houston blows :P. DDR rules, it's to bad I suck at it ( I can only do 8 footers )

Where did you all get the idea that this is the itg2 and 3 are better than ddr thread/?
Half of the posts in this topic are all about how you all think itg is so much better than this is, WHEN YOU HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN HALF OF IT. This is like saying if itg3 had a beta with a set of easy songs, this is like assuming every single song will be easy.

I'm sick and tired of itg fanboys, itg is not the godsend you make it out to be.

Anyways, this looks incredibly cool, but 5th mix :<. Jumps count as one combo, jesus what is konami doing. I hope that gets changed.

DDR SuperNova looks cool but ITG2 Pump It Up won me over

btw.. people in winnipeg are starting to use the bar now, it apparantly isnt a big deal anymore because people are too wussy to play itg 2 without the bar. Nobody strives anymore like they used to, now its just like "Oh no, this song is slightly too hard, I'm going to use the bar now" The whole no bar thing is dead... and it makes me sad, since I still play strictly no bar.

It is still pending, as it is a beta, but I doubt it will change. This is an official US mix, so, unfortunately, I believe the scoring will remain similar to the home versions (5th Mix scoring, 1 combo jumps). It'll still be fun, though the scoring system is flawed. Why they stick with this, I don't know.

Well, this is perfect proof of how they rushed the cabinet. Pads aren't great, there's no bass, and no VOLUME CONTROL. I was taking everybody's word for most of it before, and that's what everyone else has to do... but this is visual proof for everyone.
