1. Correct. That in specific is what happened after I inverted the whole picture (which made it look cooler) and added a color balance layer.
2. Also correct. +a bunch of layer duplicating and merging with different filters.

Did you check the transparency icon when you saved(assuming there is one - I dont' know GIMP).

Well I was just dumb and horrible at it at that time. I think it was that I did not delete the white default layer underneath.

Lol. EYC might occur in others. That was just a bunch of brightly colored lines. Then I Diffused Glowed and make it look so as only a little color showed. Then I added Text. I might be doing more tonight
