I have been working with Java 1.5 for several months now, but not quite a full year. I am currently doing some various, small time projects, but nothing fancy. Also, I have been working with basic HTML for a few years, but, like my Java code, it is fairly sloppy. I used to know some basic CSS, but I haven't used it in more than a year and could probably use a refresher.
Basically, I just program and upkeep a website as hobbies. Nothing real serious.

Im taking a high school AP Computer Science A course, so I'm just learning the aspects of Java. I've taken C++, Visual Basic and an HTML course, so I'm a little familiar with it. I really want to learn to develop minor video games with Java coding, and hopefully expand to complex ones, even land a job in the video gaming developing industry, but I'm a LONG way from that goal. lol, so it's simply a small time hobby.

(Programmer controlled memory allocations/deletions). |

I currently know:
HTML: 10/10 - Working with HTML for 8 years XML: 7/10 - Working with XML several years VB: 7/10 - Working with VB for 4 years SQL: 6/10 - Working with SQL databases for years WAP/WML: 6/10 - Working with WAP/WML for almost a year C++: 4/10 - Worked with C/C++ a little over a year. I liked VB better. PHP: 3/10 - Working with PHP for 3 years or so, but never really did anything with it. ASP: 2/10 - Played around with ASP for about a month, never really used it either. MXML: 1/10 - I just started messing around with MXML, it's a programming language used with Flash, I believe. Actually, it's not really used by too many people yet. Check it out at flex.org if you want. It's based on XML, so you should try and get a basic understanding of it XML first. I'm aware some of these aren't programming languages, but meh. |
