Yes, I was being sarcastic :P
...even though you constantly use 'your' when you should be using 'you're'.

I remember asking my teacher in the 1st grade what the difference between it's and its was. They had no idea, of course.

Ever since you got a grammar topic stickied, you've been playing grammar police nonstop. I think most of FFR can agree that you need to quit being the biggest grammar nazi in FFR history. Almost all of your recent posts correct another's grammar. About half of those posts are corrections by themselves, with no relevance to the topic.

I would have put this in a PM, but I knew it wouldn't change anything unless I had some backup
First of all, I have always been like this.

Second, I really only do it when people call ME out on things. Notice how Tank101 called me out on something grammar-related and I replied? If that was not the example, then the RobbyZero thing in post your picture? They have totally different meanings and it's quite hilarious to note something like that.

That's two examples. Find me more and prove your point.

I was first influenced to make the topic by this:

http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...hlight=#290079

But after reading your post and reading over that thread, I realized you were replying to Tank. So you can say it was my mistake, but I still think you need to cut it.

I shall. Don't worry about it. I'll keep it all here from now on and I won't even refer people to this thread for little mistakes. Huge mistakes, like every single one of dancer's posts, I might.

It's an internet forum, not English class, Squeek. Cut out this shit. No one cares if you have a missing apostrophe or you spell a word wrong. NO ONE CARES

Did you even read his last post, emccky? He just said, it's not for little mistakes, but big ones.

I say "TOUGH" to all those whining people who get mad because you correct their grammar. We have to deal with the postwhoring idiots and the rest of the people with their stupid post grammar.

I feel like I am losing brain cells to all those peoples' posts. They will probably never get it right, but I don't care.
If I have to live through their post, then they can just live through my corrections.

And tell me, how many of them are always on-topic?

Does it even matter if there's big mistakes? Does not seeing a period make it not readable? Exactly, shut the fuck up.

Emccky, you missed the point of my thread completely.

The purpose of this thread is to serve as a reference guide for times when people are wondering whether to use "their" or "there", or something similar. I'm not going to point to this thread everytime someone makes a mistake I hate seeing.

I've already informed Guido that he's starting to get sidetracked. I guess I should have explained my intentions from the beginning. My purpose is not to have everybody on FFR suddenly become perfect typists. My purpose is to explain commonly-made mistakes and where to correct them.

~Squeek

PS - Yes, it pains me as much as it pains Cenright, but I promised I wouldn't go nuts everytime I saw a semicolon out of place. It's here for posters like dancer.

Okay, Kenzya, I know sometimes I use bad grammar like many others, which if you want to do is your choice. But sometimes, enough is enough. Squeek was just giving people another option.

Your all missing the point. It's a forum for a game, not english 101.

Can you explain to me when you would use "farther", and when you would use "further".

Good grammar isn't that hard.

Afraid to learn?

edit* To answer that question,

Farther is a more literal way of saying further. Like farther away kind of means physically farther.

Further is more distant in an idea kind of way. Farther is kind of rare isn't it. Most people say further for both situations but farther is a bit more formal and more reality-based.

I guess.

Leave jam, no one likes you. We don't need to learn on the forum of a flash game.

Emccky, now you're just turning defensive and lashing out at anyone. Stop.
