They haven't re-patched. Snipers retain hipfire accuracy for a small amount of time after scoping in, making it extremely difficult to quickscope.

you can only turn off aim assist for single player, and campaign only at that I think.

EDIT: I'm researching this now, and nobody can seem to come to a consensus about whether it has any effect in MP. So idk.

Okay, cool. I'm glad you showed me that, I was under the impression that they're older precautions against quick scoping were still in effect. I'm still not completely convinced that it's been taken away, as it only says 'subtle increase'. I have a feeling that they've only slightly increased the accuracy on scoping in, and it's still relatively inaccurate for a while.

And ninja, you're right. I think it was unintentional that they did that, but they just kept that anyways so more of the community would appreciate them.

I honestly could care less. In what benefit does knowing that provide to me?

If you couldn't care less then you should have never tried to argue anything. My argument about aim assist might not apply to you, but it applies to the vast majority of console gamers.
