That pretty much explains it. I never said it was stupid, I only said I didn't need it. Just my opinion.

AIM 6.9 has 69 in it. Oh, those perverted AIM people.

Why would a skin be necessary anyway? I like the simplistic look. Exactly what I'm looking for in a messager softwares.

I have pidgin because I like simplicity in the messenger program. I don't have aim because I don't like all the ads and unnecessary features. I've already expressed my opinion in my other posts.
I don't know what fido is so crazy about since he even said himself that he used pidgin. The only thing I can think of is that he mistook my screenshot for being AIM and not pidgin because he had a different windows theme then me. Last edited by Izzy; 06-15-2009 at 08:47 AM.. |

Yeah, well, you're gay. I was at work and didn't get a chance to read the rest of the thread where people went insane and decided to argue about skins and how retarded everyone is.
I just wanted to express the sentiment that even though skins are available for something, I think it looks best with the minimalistic, simple look that comes default. ps how can people seriously use meebo? I use it all the time when I'm away from home, but how can you use that as your normal IM software.

Is there a downloadable meebo? I wouldn't be able to use it all the time if it was always in my browser.

Hey Afro, you used Google Talk yet? It's about as simple as you can get. It may be a little TOO simple at times, but it works just fine. I don't know if it'll ever catch on, as it seems Google isn't pushing it. Only reason I use it is because everybody at work has it, so I use it while I'm there to avoid hollering across the warehouse.
Again @Afro, I remember trying a 3rd-party AIM client back in the day, and it invariably screwed up file transfers. Then again since half the world is on 3rd-party stuff anyway, file transfer problems are bound to happen regardless. Unless all that's fixed these days...?

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =( In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz. So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |
