Re: FFR: The New User Perspective And New FFR Ideas
You enter a website called "FlashFlashRevolution", you probably expect a DDR clone, you click the bold "Play FFR" button and find a game where you have to press buttons corresponding to flying arrows.
isn't that enough |

Re: FFR: The New User Perspective And New FFR Ideas
Speaking of playing FFR...
The R^3 engine itself isn't very convenient as much as it looks a lot nicer. You, the beginning player, must navigate to the very complicated Settings menu and either change the Judge offset to 1 or the Frame rate to 60. Not to mention speed vs. rate etc. |

An in-game engine tutorial would be quite nice, and some sort of sync test to help calibrate visual/global offset would be great too - but... that's not something that can really be facilitated at the moment, it would seem. |

But in short, these points aren't any less invalid than you've tried to make them. People have said they agree. People can see past jokes to get to the actual content. Why can't you? Quote:

The point that I'm quoting has nothing to do with you, it has to do with me highlighting the fact that something was brought publicly, and up until the point where PrawnSkunk said he was talking to you, the response was generally negative. You had an idea that you brought community input for, and then when it went sour, you basically disregarded that fact and allowed for private/internal discussion to go around rather than seeking any sort of improvement. You didn't even bother to ask how things could be made better, you started targeting people as if they were all wrong and as if their points were meaningless. I'll summate once more until I get home and can actually afford to make a response that takes me 2+ hours to make highlighting everything that the site could do: tokens and gameplay are a tiny piece of a huge underlying problem where users don't engage with the site. |

The stuff you said to rushy and TC was minimal but I can restore it and just remove everything that had to do with my old post. Edit: the stuff to them from the post Quote:

There's always been a major problem with the higher ups in ffr and transparency with the members of the community and it actually tends to get really frustrating for a lot of people. Whatever he has to say about the subject should be here like everyone else. Edit: This is also why I'm not having a conversation in private with you over the things in this thread. Anything I have to say I will put out publicly. Right now I just haven't wanted to get involved as my head is foggy from being sick and I already have a really hard time coming off the right way in what I say on a normal day.
