Re: Steam Summer Sale 2015
I concur. It's an interesting concept but it drops off extremely in like... the third stage. If you wanna play what that game has to offer that's fun, there's a game called agario you might wanna look at OpieOP

I had £0.20 in my steam wallet so I picked up Morphopolis for £0.15. It's a calming mix of relaxing sounds, 'find this item' gameplay and not-too-difficult puzzles. I'll have it beat in an hour. It also has trading cards so I'll likely make my money back selling those. |

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2015
I saw agar.io, it's cool. I've played Spore before, it was really shallow but somehow I still enjoyed the mind-numbingly easy gameplay set against its grand scope/vision. It's like one of those children's toys you find yourself idly fiddling around with while waiting at the dentist or something, plus a little bit of high-concept grandeur (esp. the space stage). If it comes down to like five bucks I'll pick it up~

Worms Armageddon is only $3.75 down from $20, I suggest some of you pick it up and we have an FFR worms party

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2015
What level did you end up getting to? The one I'm in at the moment is coming up to 2,750 now.
Also, bought Lisa. I'm considering buying 100% orange juice too because it's one of the milestones and is likely to only be around £1 once the new day kicks in. I really wish shovel knight was more than 33% off. |

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2015
Someone on my list who I think is from here is level 72 775 675, but there are already rooms at 100 million.
People are cheating and using scripts and gathering everyone into rooms to do it and have 1500 guys use wormhole on bosses (+15000 levels), though it's really hard to get into those rooms by the looks of it with the way that they structure which rooms you can join. Anyway, I've bought a few games so far this sale. Got Ori and the blind forest yesterday for 40% off and god damn it is amazing so far. Really want to pick up Axiom Verge but it doesn't look like it's going on sale.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2015
Might just buy Axiom Verge then. I'm a huge Super Metroid fan.
Also managed to sneak into one of those script kiddie rooms for the monster game lol Room is currently in 9th overall, over level 40000 in 20 minutes. edit: annnddd 140k and I'm not doing anything. So that's already 1400 wormholes I can buy, so I see how this works. Run the script tomorrow and easy money. Sneaking into this rooms though, not so easy (about a dozen of them filled within seconds, so don't typo into the console like I did.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2015
I've personally been waiting for Dragon Ball Xenoverse to be on sale for more than 33% off, but if it doesn't I'll still get it since I don't mind $33 for the game tbh. I've also bought a bunch of little indie games as well + other older titles put out a la Metal Slug 3/X, Strider, Astebreed, etc.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2015
Just bought Axiom Verge, I'll let you people who haven't bought it how it goes and if you should buy it or not for 19.99/on sale.
Axiom Verge Notes: • At first sight, this game feels like it should be played on something more classic instead of your computer, like a Nintendo Advance or even SP because of the way the graphics are portrayed. They are involuntarily nostalgic towards my days of playing Metroid Fusion in it's 8-bit style of gameplay. I love the way this game looks. • The first time you get to move your character, the level design is very metroid feeling. There are many instances that the game makes parallels to metroid like hatches and the exit into one room into another. • With level difficulty to be akin to metroid, the game is not easy. Monsters will hit you and take significant life points from you. Killing monsters gives you life points, but rarely are they enough to cover for the damage of monsters attacking you, so stay frosty and try not to get hit. Enemies also mimic metroid fusion with coloration of the enemy. For example, a red enemy is weaker than the same enemy in blue. • The music after you reach the first item (gun) is much like most 8-bit games you'd expect which is very futuristic sounding. It's involved and gives the game the well needed depth that most 8-bit games require. • Weapons in this game are dramatically different from Metroid fusion, there are no parallels that I can see from either games. I've noticed that each time I play 8-bit games like this, I always want to know what the next "gun" was that I was going to receive, so the game has to keep giving you better and better weapons as you progress. In that sense, the game gives you that feeling of wanting the next gun or the next upgrade. • Emulates the metroid style of a tone playing when your health gets too low. I haven't beaten the game yet, but all in all I'd have to say if you still live and breath metroid like I do, buy this game. It's sure to satisfy your metroid craving and you won't regret buying it I can guarantee it.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2015
That's crazy. I think I'll stick with being happy at getting level 8,990.
Ignoring the obvious (Fallout Franchise etc.) There are quite a few good deals today. I'd recommend The Stanley Parable, Goat Simulator, Titan Quest 1 & 2 (similar to Torchlight and Diablo) and Unepic. |

100% Orange Juice is on sale again for relatively cheap, I am planning on buying another copy for a friend. I think it's a pretty neat time killer for your group of friends.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2015
Spent an unusual amount of money this Steam Sale, usually I only buy 2 games at most, this time I got 3.
Borderlands Pre-Sequel to play with 3 of my friends. Tons of fun. South Park Stick of Truth, incredible especially considering it's a licensed game. Hilarious of course. And finally No Limits 2 because I'm a gigantic nerd. First two games definitely recommended.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2015
Bought the TALOS Principle, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and Invisible, Inc. during this sale. Got three or four cards out of the sales, and the rest from the monster game to finish the badge. Not bad this summer!
