Re: How to get better at FFR
If I knew about SM before FFR (or at the same time), I'd be FC'ing FGOs by now. Instead, I've been here for months and still haven't FC'd a single one.

Re: How to get better at FFR
I have found that the one-hand style is the one I'm most comfortable with. I can't always keep up but I am used to this style so it helps. Also, spamming the buttons definitely doesn't help. You usually end up missing more than you would if you were actually trying, which makes you fail that much faster. Trying harder difficulties has made me notice a significant improvement in my skill. I can now recognize individual arrows much easier and have no problem with complex patterns to a certain extent. Thanks for the tips!

Re: How to get better at FFR
Truly, and I mean, truly a very good and through discription. I use two hands on arrows and I can FC up to challeneging songs and AAA up to difficult(for now) but I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to combine one or two hands into one kind of style... anyone want to help me out?

You see the arrows all set up on the number 8462? There is your solution. Quote:
It will not make you better, it will limit you at a certain peak because one hand will be overpowering the other. Spread would be the best way to go so both hands equal out and can both so the patterns of the songs. Having 1 hand hit 1 button while your other hand hit 3? Why not just make one hand have all 4, makes it a lot easier. Oh wait, there is already a name for that, called one handed... So pretty much what your doing is a combination of one handed and index. Thats gay. Numpad/Spread > One hand or that one idea that sucked.

I think left index and right index/middle/ring and he's not bad at FFR O_o But I guess whatever two hand style is most comfortable helps.

Brandon, honestly. I was only trying to be creative. No need to insult my idea. You are right in terms of one hand overpowering the other hand, but it's the player's choice if they want to go ahead and do that, right? |

Re: How to get better at FFR
i have tips but i thinks this is already trivial to some...
some guy, forgot his name,i followed his key config, the "DFJK" style. it helped me alot. one more thing: while increasing the difficulty is a help, increasing the speed will also improve your skills. gradually change the speed until you are used to it, until u reach x3.^^ |
