If you saw "the coat" you should have moved it, then gone back out to where you were and take pictures to find out if it was still there. Though, this does seem pretty interesting, I'm in to paranormal stuff/ghosts. And when I first saw it, I thought it was a baby being held upside down rofl.

People like you piss me the **** off. I don't believe in any of this myself, but for ****'s sake, let people believe what they want to believe in. If believing in a God or a higher power makes then happy, then don't ****ing call them stupid.

I think it's a possibility and shouldn't be ruled out.
I'm sure everyone has had some form of a paranormal experience. Whether it's getting a wave of goosebumps when you're home alone, or seeing something from the corner of your eyes.

When I was 5, I used to talk to the lightbulb outside of the front door because I thought it had a face, then one day it left. True story

Just because something makes someone happy doesn't mean they aren't stupid.

While I agree that there is no reason to rule out a higher power since there is no way to test/prove/disproove anything related to that I don't think believing in something because it makes you happy is good.

For humanity as a whole truth is far more important then being ignorantly happy. Being ignorantly happy is just selfish because it prevents humanity from progressing.

If you were married to a women for 40 years of your life and you devoted all of your possible love to this women while she was cheating on you the whole time and never loved you. Wouldn't you want to know? Is it more important to be ignorant of the fact that your life has been a waste or is it better to just be ignorantly happy.

I really don't understand the sheer animosity with which you treat theists sometimes. I'm not a huge God guy myself, but I'd rather be happy than sad (durrrrr). So if it saddens me to believe that something isn't watching and doing **** behind a curtain, **** that. If it makes you happy to believe there isn't, woooo go nuts. From a rather hedonistic point of view, of course.

edit: lmfao page 1 what is wrong with you guys
editedit: you know what Rubix? I think I actually agree with you now. I went around a bit and read up on Occam's Razor, apologetics, etc. and I think I've come around to your point of view on God's feasibility. BUT, you're wrong in showing so much animosity towards theists, because I doubt most of them care enough to reason it out as thoroughly as you have and I don't think that makes them any less intelligent, just apathetic RUN ONS WOOO. Also the hedonism argument above still stands. I think. Unless you consider hedonism to be fundamentally unintelligent.

Nothing has given me reason to decide whether ghosts are real or not, and if they are real whether they can be captured in a photo but I think that your "ghost" may just be a drape or something of the sort. Probably something you didn't notice while you were walking through the house.

Please understand the art of spirit photography is difficult and some even believe that it cannot be done with a digital camera. I know for certain that you cannot capture an invisible ghost in a photo.

I would suggest reading up a little bit on spirit photography and learn the mistakes that a lot of people make when believing they captured a "spirit" in their photo.

It's pretty hard to take photograph of invisible stuff, yes.

It looks like a fox to me.

But wtv, honestly, it's easy to notice a "ghost" figure in a picture if you look closely and want to believe that it is actually a ghost etc. I have tons of pictures like that

I have a photo of me couching on the pool table in my basement, exactly when someone took a photo and it turned out like a perfect skull in the air.

I was like wtf ok and went to sleep. That's all there were too it. If you want to believe in something, for no other reason than you want to, you can see anything anywhere.

It's like people looking for signs, eventually, everything turn into "signs". Oh yay green man just for me, that means I should walk over the road. Oh schnaps the car in front of me just crashed, that means I shouldn't buy that car. Etetetetet-c

Coincidences are bound to happen just by the mass number of things that do happen. It would be more ridiculous for nothing to ever happen. Which would probably be better evidence for the paranormal.

You would not believe how many people believe there is a "ghost" in their picture that apparently wasn't in the room when they took the photo. Especially after seeing the movie Shutter.
